Anyone know what that weird symbol next to park symbol is? It stays on whole driving too. I have looked at the manual and couldnt find it

Since its introduction in 2002, the Infiniti G35 has proven a worthy successor to the G20. New features in 2006 for the stylish sedan include new headlights, exterior styling, and Bluetooth technology. The G35 comes in 5 trims: Coupe, Coupe 6MT, Sedan, Sedan 6MT, and Sedan x AWD. The Coupe, Sedan, and Sedan x AWD use a 3.5-liter, 280-hp V6 powertrain with a 5-speed automatic transmission, while the 6MT trims use a 3.5-liter, 298-hp V6 with a 6-speed manual.
Expect to get around 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. Coupes have 2 doors and seat 4, while the sedans have 4 doors and seat 5. All 5 trims deliver standard ABS brakes, traction control, and stability control.
Overall, drivers like the smooth handling, roomy interior, and powerful engine. Some might say the interior could use some higher quality materials. However, most would agree that the 2006 Infiniti G35 provides an excellent option for the price.

BEST $10k EVER SPENT!!! I’ve bought my car at 30k miles from the dealer it was maintained at its whole life. The 6MT 3.5 liter power train has never had an issue at all. I continued to use the old non-synthetic oil BUT I do change it every 3k miles instead of every 5K. All of the electronics still work flawlessly. The only cosmetic flaw is that the dash has begun to crack after 15 years of use. Literally everything else works as it did when the car was new.Sep 16, 2021

The car is great, handles like its on rails and gets everyone's attention. I feel proud owning this car. The Ride can be a little stiff sometimes depending on how many bumps there are in the road. Overall, very fun sporty coupe with low maintenance costs.Dec 06, 2014

This car has been the most reliable car in my life, it has never shut down or come close to breaking my wallet maintaining this car. I have at best spent 150$ in 4 years on the car toward maintenance and not added accessory or upgrade of my choosing.Sep 13, 2014

I love this car, especially the sport tunes suspension coupled with the six speed manual transmission. The car is a ton of fun to drive and looks great. I just wish there was more room in the trunk, but its a sports car so I guess that's a sacrifice you have to make.Jun 07, 2014

The G35 coupe has an edge in styling over the Nissan 350z in my opinion. The 3.5L 280 HP engine is bulletproof, has been putting out consistent power since I bought it. The RWD acceleration feels instant, and the handling is very responsiveMay 02, 2014

the couple things i didnt like is the electronic options that come in the car are a little out of date for a 2006. if it came with an aux cable and heated steering wheels like the acuras and bmws of the same year it would be perfect.Nov 13, 2013

I don't think there is another car made I would prefer over the Inifniti G35. I feel it is the best looking car Inifiniti has made. It has great power, solid handling, a hard, but controlled and refined ride, and a great interior layout. I love the features of the car with a clean and easy to use dashboard that isn't cluttered with unnecessary feature. The interior materials aren't quite as good as some of the German competitors, but it has held up remarkably well over the years. Trunk space and rear seat space are plenty good, with a large trunk opening and enough space for multiple sets of golf clubs. Rear seat passengers will be happy to find out the rear seats recline, for that extra comfort on long trips. The bluetooth system works well, but setup is a pain since it is done all by voice. Would definately recommend this car to someone looking for sporty luxury.May 20, 2013

When you talk about reliability and luxury, I think no other brand comes to mind first other than Infiniti. The G35 coupe offers a great blend of sport and luxury without sacrificing the reliability one tends to expect with a Japanese car.Mar 06, 2012

I have the 4-door sedan 6-speed. I like the performance orientation of the sedan. Nice firm ride yet complaint. Very nice power with the minor modification of K&N filter charge and CPU reflashing, these small things have given me a noticeable increase in power, torque, etc.

Everything written about this car is true. A strong engine and great sound to boot. The interior features are good and I can't think of anything missing that I would want. The Bose sound system is more than adequate. I have the sport model which gives a firm but stable ride. The stock 19" rims are preasing to the eye as well as hold the 245/40R rear rubber. I have Stillen after market intake and exhaust. My only complaint if you would call it that is the fuel economy. But that is a small price to pay for 300+ HP. Jun 01, 2010

acceleration is strong especially with awd
cornering is good with a heavy feel and a bit top heavy
braking is great, very steady
build quality - is excellent even for a lux-tourer
appearance - i really like the look and design of the car, especially the interior
cost of ownership - gas mileage cpould be better, avg. 19mpg

Just an awesome piece of machinery. Acceleration, braking, handling is perfect for my needs. THe exterior styling never seems to get outdated, the interior however is a bit dated. Cost of owner ship is just wear and tear items. Its just the best car I ever had :)Dec 09, 2009

This car is one of the most fun cars I've had the opportunity to drive. The performance is great, drives smooth at high speeds and does well with plenty of low end torque. Performance: Great 2nd gear, handles great.
Build Quality: Little sqeaks from A/C vents
Appearance: Great looking, sleek design, flowing appearance
Cost of Ownership: $52 per oil change, tires around $900, front brakes around $700 (with rotor)...i'd say fairly expensive to maintain.
Value: Great value for it's price...I paid 37K out the door and it's loaded

Well this car is definitely the four door 350Z. I cannot belive how quick it was on its feet...for the two months that it was in my possession, I was able to learn how great a car this is. It was fast...the VQ35 pulled the car hard...it turned in very sharp and responsively and gripped well. The tires that it had were all season Bridgestone Turanza's. I wish I could have seen this car with actual summer performance tires. The brakes were the biggest issue of this car. They would fade to a point where braking was literally non-existent. These brakes would work fine for daily driving but they absolutely fail at any sort of spirited driving.Jul 08, 2008

this is my 2nd infinity. loved the Fx35 but the gas was killing me. the G35x is good on gas and the performance is great. trunk space could be biggerand the premature rusting around the tailpipe is annoying. but other than that, its a great vehicle.Jun 15, 2008

Don't knwo what to say. It handles amazing and its got almost 300hp. Yea I
know its not the fastest car off the line and its a bit heavy (but its got leather!)
but I love it. Not in a "this makes me look sweet" way (which it certainly does,
but in a "I giggle like a girl everytime I drive the thing" sort of way. Its a bit
noisy though and there is a problem with road noise, but I think once my tires

The car is overall great, incredible handing, excellent power, and great looking both inside and outside. Little complain about the torque at low rmp, which makes it lumberly at the red light. Another solid rental, this car is fast, and a four-wheel drive. Before Nissan brings back the GT next year (2009), this is as close as you can get to having the legendary Skyline. When I first sat in the car I wasn't really thrilled (because i had never seen the inside, im not saying it was a bad interior), but when my dad and I took it for a test drive, the car was amazing. The acceleration was nothing I had ever felt before and the handling was very good also. Our model came with the Bose stereo system, which made the ride even more enjoyable. The final part i liked was the beautiful leather interior. Infiniti is the only car we have had the has the insignia stitched into the back of the seat and the leather has a very nice feel to it. overheating problems
I have a 2006 infiniti g35 sedan that is overheating. I had the radiator replaced as well as the coolant bleeder port. Bleed out the system & everything was fine for 2 days & then it began overheating again. My coolant overflow tank is cracked & was wondering it could it possibly be that the coolant tank is cracked & the thermostat isn't getting correct amount heat? or what cause this has been an issue for the pass week for me.
