The top didnt let down and the car was filthy. The interior really had a lot of wear and tear. Probably should lower price or make sure top works. The car also had dents and pieces of the trunk chippe, also another reason to lower price. Car is just in ok condition with good mileage. Aug 21, 2020

Very solid. Very. Not too smart to run the wiring thru the floor board. Heavy duty mats and you'll be fine. Lifters seem to be an issue around 100k mi with this particular engine. Dunno if its due to a pump or pressure issue or lifter itselves. You turn heads in this car. Its not a C or E class. Rather a cross between the two. Mercedes doesn't make a CLK anymore. They're E class coupes now. I personally warm mine up for about 3-5 min before taking off and try to avoid short trips. She doesn't like short trips. She's a runner. Doesn't like to slow down. Loves the highway. Would def recommend and buy another one. Art in motion.Feb 06, 2015

I've owned my CLK since October of 2014. Not long after my purchase while driving on the freeway I encountered a bump at approximately 60 mph which placed my car airborne for a second or two, when it came down the rear headrest rollbars deployed which required resetting by an certified Mercedes mechanic since the top was up at the time of the incident. It was repaired to my satisfaction and has had no similar problem since then. Understanding this is an eight year old car, I would say it has held up quite nicely. I originally used this as my primary car to drive to client locations, now I primarily use it on weekends for fun. When I purchased the car it had 105 K miles on it, it now shows 118 K miles.Aug 07, 2014

I pretty much love everything about the car! It shifts smoother than any transmission (auto) that I've ever driven. Leather interior makes it feel even more quality. It goes kind of fast though...I've already gotten my first speeding ticket! ;)Apr 04, 2014

I have had this car for over 4yrs. Never had a problem.
Unlike other European cars, this one is super reliable!
It looks great inside out.
It has god a lot of great features.

I bought this car for my spouse and she looks great in it. The CLK 320 is a great entry level car for a convertible buyer. Handles great ride is smooth and the gas mileage is on par with a vehicle in this class with a six cylinder engine. Horsepower could use a boost for a car of it's size (215hp).May 31, 2012

Oh, and $19K for a 5-yr old MB that originally sold for over $60K, its a bargain!
Quiet with top up--other than occasional squeak of the top when going over big bumps.

If it is considered that this has v-style 6cylinders, 218hp is not bad. But it's true this is not for sports driving. For sportyyyy driving- enough to run fast. 249km/h
0km-100km takes 6.5seconds. or in 7secs.
Performance- as most Mercedes do, acceleration is little late than other German brands. Pretty good breaking appropriate performance even when drive too fast, this is reliable rotor. somewhat heavy handing that gives super stability. You can feel when you turn with clk on hwy or freeway. especially the speed exceeds 200km.. inspiring of me...liable...to ensure the safety for driver...
Build Quality- very satsfied, sturdy body ( it has no b-pillar) no repair is needed unless generator makes trouble.
Appearance- Good looking, enough to drive with a lot of fun. Not be disgusted even as time goes by. But, wheel bases...a bit small..
Fuel cost is pretty good, it exhausts 8km/L in urban, 10 up to 13km/L in rural.
speed limit system is really helpful if you are likely to use.
Very fun, 4 passengers (if 2 couples would be great), open all 4 windows will be inspired of all.. see the curve from the side line...Feb 03, 2012

Car drove like a sports version of a S500. It was a fun car to drive on longer trips. It was very reliable and never gave me any problems. the clk500 has plenty of power and handles like a luxury sports car should. I recommend this car. Aug 09, 2011

So after 2 C6 Corvettes I happened upon this gem of a car...
Performance - feels heavy, and consumes gas like no other (ok so 20MPG isnt that bad)
Build Quality - Just about perfect, no rattles or noises. You dont cringe when you hit a bump in the road
Appearance - Decent, the AMG helps. Could still use a slower valence in the front, and maybe a different hood.
Cost of Ownership - GET A WARRANTY GOOD GOD. Here is a small list of prices for parts:
Rotors: $2500, Pads: $600, Tires: $1000 to 2000, Oil Change: $190 - these can be cut in half usually if done yourself or by another shop.
Fun Factor - Handles good, doesn't feel as fast as an M3 or Corvette, If you have the cash spring for an SL. Mar 23, 2010

Fast, fast, fast and quiet. Well received anywhere. Smooth tranny and AMG sytling on Avante Garde cabriolet 500. Best year overall for CLK Cabriolet. Excellent car. No recalls. Open-air driver is always exhilerating. Had mustangs, jags, and love the benz.

One of the best looking MB IMHO, a step up from the previous version, and more elegant and cleaner than the replacement e-Class Coupe. Very comfortable to drive, nicely equiped with lots of gadgets, although no phone or iPod integration. Smallish trunk but big enough for the golf clubs with top down. the performance is decent, especially the "S" handling. oh yea, love the engine sound when accelerating;
