I have a 2005 Yukon XL, the gas gauge goes past full. First to about 3 o'clock, next time to 5, next time started to about 7 o'clock. this was after filling it up and after several starts. Any idea if it is the gauge or the fuel gauge sender in the tank?
it usually takes two attempts to crank my truck but yesterday when i started it the clock reset. now it wont start but the battery is working great...lights, radio, etc is all working fine. when i turn the ignition, it makes a clicking sound but wont start...is it the starter?
Our Yukon stalls when turning a corner or coming to a stop. As long as its moving its fine. Could this be a fuel pump issue or water in the tank?
Hello, I have a 2005 GMC Yukon xl. After I go to a carwash the electrical problems start.The abs light is on so the brakes. The battery goes from 14 to 12 then to 16 and sometimes goes to 9, so does the fuel temperature and oil, always playing. I’ve been to teton motors paid 2700$ and they replaced some sensors and said it’s all good. But nothing changed, and then after a day or two everything works fine, and then starts again when I go to a carwash. Does anybody know what wires are exposed to water that I could check. The battery and the alternator were also replaced.
The DVD player in my Yukon will try and load a DVD but immediately spits it back out and sucks it back in to try and reload. It does this over and over again. I was told that pulling the fuse makes this stop but have no idea where the fuse is.
