No power at fuel pump
Truck won't start changed fuel pump and fuel pump relay and checked for power at The pump and had nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Other than an optional power sunroof and comprehensive overhead console, the Chevy Silverado 1500HD half ton pickup maintained most of its core features for 2005. This model comes in 4 trims: RWD and 4WD versions of the LS and LT. All trims have 4 doors and seat 5-6.
Gas mileage generally comes out to 14 mpg in the city and 18 on the highway. All trims sport a powerful 6.0 L, 300 hp V8 powertrain. The strongest max towing capacity among the 4 trims exceeds 10000 lbs.
Overall, reviewers consider the Silverado 1500HD an excellent tower for a half-ton pickup. They like this model's roomy interior and hard-working V8 as well. On the other hand, the overall build could use an update. While the Silverado 1500HD makes a good choice for those who need their half-ton to tow, you can probably do better with the Silverado's competition if you don't need to tow.

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 5.3 4l60e transmission the abs and break light will come on and as soon as they come on the speedometer will go crazy and transmission will shift in and out of gears it will shift from over drive to third then neutral then back into over drive and it only has 140k miles I replaced the alternator the speed sensor and even put a new speed sensor plug on it what is wrong with it Dec 05, 2021

I have been very satisfied with this truck with the single exception of the fuel economy. OnceI am able to sell it, I intend to get a diesel truck instead.
The extra weight capabilities has come in very handy for me.Jun 09, 2014

It was a great truck I could hook up to any thing and it would pull it. Compared to my 2007 half ton it got better gas mileage and the 2007 only had a 5.3l in it. It was a great truck to drive also it handled great on and off road. I would race friends with s-10s and rangers threw the wood and I could beat them every time. Feb 19, 2010

OIL PRESSURE READS WAY PAST MAX
Oil pressure on MAX when the truck off off,when I start my truck,the oil pressure shoots way past MAX, my engone is running great..no noises,lots of power&all my other gauges are working perfect,Please help...I own a 2005 Chevy Silverado 4×4 half ton truck 4.3 litre v6;I dont want to wreck my engine that only has "124,000"kilometers(just over 65,000 actual miles),Im fairly handy around automobiles&I have my own tools,any ideas on trouble shooting?I need the truck for work..but im scared to move it because I dont want to wreck my engine,my engine is not making any noises,and has lots of power&the other gauges appear to be normal and in normal operation mode...except for the oil pressure,this just started acting up yesterday...I was driving it for 10-minutes all gauges were normal,then all of a sudden the oil pressure gauge started climbing,I drove it like that for 2-minutes ay very low speed,when I stopped tbe truck &turned it off in my yard,the oil pressure gauge read way past MAX,after the truck sat for 3- hrs,I opened the truck&without turning the engine on...the oil pressure gauge still read MAX...&when I started the teuck...the oil pressure gauge immediately shot up to way past MAX,again;no engine noises,no loss of power,just that oil pressure gauge shooting way past max...and its freaking me out....please help
