Wagons are the mainstay of Volvo, and the V70 continued to enjoy great popularity in 2004. Like every car made by the Swedish company, it is full of safety features that are part of even a base model's standard equipment. That list includes ABS, air bags, side-beams, a whiplash protection system, and stability and traction control. The 2004 V70 was made with five trim levels: the 2.4i, the 2.5T, the 2.5T AWD, the T5, and the R. The 2.5T AWD and the R are all-wheel drive. People who own this car love its looks overall, although as expected they place highest regard on the life-saving aspects. But here's a red flag: several different engine problems seem to recur with this model. In anecdotal accounts, drivers of the V70 cite the car's large turning radius and excessive production of brake dust, as well as less legroom than expected in the backseat.
A new option for this year is the gas-discharged bi-xenon headlights, which have replaceable bulbs. Options were also available for an electronic parking aid, which could come in handy when you're backing this beautiful barge into a tight space.

Everything you need and nothing you dont. The full array of available safety features at the time, as Volvo is known for. Comfortable and functional interior with easily understood and manipulated controls for all systems. Ergonomically sophisticated. Powerful enough for public roads. Primary controls offer informative feedback and predictable linear response. It could be better, but not by much.Aug 25, 2021

The Volvo V70 is probably one of the best cars ever built fight me. It is a very capable car with something for everyone. Need a commuter, Volvo V70, need a sports car Volvo V70. Need to tow, VOLVO V70!! Need I say more?. Reliability, it will take care of you if you take care of it. Main things to do are, change the oil on time, change the transmission fluid on time, and keep good tires on. In return you will be rewarded by a comfortable, capable, reliable, and fun car. Why buy a corolla, or a accord or heck a generic cookie cutter crossover when you could have the wagon. If you get the turbo models ( you know you want to) they are quicker yet still deliver decent mileage and will surprise people at the stoplight peter measuring contest. In summary, get a freaking Volvo V70, cmon, what are you waiting for, I know Im keeping mine forever. Jan 15, 2021

Volvos have always been in our family and always served us well. They dont make cars like this anymore. My father has always ran his Volov's through 200,000 miles. We use a regular mechanic, does not require a specialist and have always been treated fairJul 03, 2014

Due to the limited amount produced, it's unlikely to encounter another identical one at every other stop light like most cars today. Exclusive and very fun to drive yet you can cruise or haul items if need be which makes for a nice duality.Jun 13, 2014

Nydelig bil å kjøre, med en god automatkasse.
Gode seter, delskinn.
Godt utstyrt, med klima, el.ruter, dstc, RTI, multifunksjonsratt, isofix, oppløftbare puter for barn i baksetet og rails.

Svensk kvalitet i særklasse der findes simpelthen ikke bedre biler. den har 189 hk lyder ikke af meget for så stor en bil men det er jo også den bedst byggede bil i verden.

Jag ångrar inte mitt köp av v70:in.
den är väldig smidig att köra, bromsarna funkar klockrent.
det är 170 hk i min v70.. den drar inte allt för mycket i bränsle heller.. det är en mycket fin bil & bra lastutrymme. om man är en liten person som jag så kan man utan problem sova i bilen..
