I have a quest Van with four small windows in the roof. One or more is leaking in the rear part of the van on the right rear passenger side. Is this able to be repaired

After a year-long hiatus, the Nissan Quest returns in 2004 with an all-new style, more powerful engine, a houseload of features, and more passenger friendly configurations. A redesigned exterior adds more curves and sloping lines to erase the boxy minivan stereotype. Built on the longest wheelbase in its class (124 inches), the 2004 Quest claims to offer more interior space than its competitors, along with dual sliding doors that open four inches more than other minivans, providing better access to the third row.
There are three trim levels of the front-wheel drive minivan, each powered by a 240-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine shared with the Nissan 350Z. The base S and SL trims come with a 4-speed automatic, while the top-end SE gets a 5-speed auto tran. All minivans come standard with ABS brakes, dual front and side curtain airbags for all three rows, traction control, a CD player, and remote entry. Stability control is standard on the SE. The SL adds power driver's seat, alloy wheels, power pedals, and a power passenger door and liftgate. The SE lets you travel in style with 17-inch wheels, power front seats, leather upholstery, power sliding doors, front sunroof and four Skyview fixed panels over the back two seats that help open up the cabin for everyone. Standard rear parking assist is optional on the S and SL. A two-monitor DVD system is also optional, but the Quest does come with four power outlets for laptops, cell phones, or video games.
The second row captain's chairs and third row bench both fold (the third row folds completely flat) for up to 149 cubic feet of storage space. A big change in the 2004 Quest is the controversial center-mounted gauges that have been moved from behind the steering wheel. Drivers say it takes a while to get used to shifting your eyes over. Owners like all the standard features, the responsive engine, comfortable seats, roominess, and sporty handling. Gas mileage is decent, at 20/25 mpg. The 2004 Quest seems to have a lot of quality issues, however, and owners say they spend a lot of time in the repair shop dealing with early tire and brake wear, a faulty sliding door, and numerous rattles. This year the minivan had many recalls. Other objections include the center cluster and hard to read gauges.

Really didn't dislike anything. Only found turning radius to be annoying sometimes and some creaks/squeaks coming from rubber on sliding passenger doors and road noise which disappear when radio is on. If Nissan made the same body style I would buy same model again, just don't care for the new square looking body style Feb 22, 2014

I love this car. The car also has an on board computer that analyses your current mileage per gallon of gas, on long trips we have gotten as high as 28 MPG - it handles great on trips and everyday city driving. Tight turning radius and with the back up sensors, so easy to back up into any parking spot or garage.Oct 11, 2013

This van has been great for our family of 6 for 7 yrs. We have taken it on many long road trips with no problems. We couldn't be happier. The interior space has been great for the years that we had 2 car seats and 2 boosters and a double jogger. Plenty of room all the things you need with 4 small kids. It was a good vehicle for small children. Loved how you can reconfigure the seats to accommodate many different cargo loads. Also the moonroof and the skylights were key to owning this van. Made it bright. I would recommend a Quest to anyone.Dec 06, 2012

I bought it from the dealer myself. The only problem is the sweaky noise in the back which is a dealer issue because I drove and 06 Quest and it had the same noise.Clean title family car great for shoppingJan 14, 2012

2004 Quest. Got a 2004 Nissan Quest in 2004. Styling was pretty cool for a minivan back then. Ride was very quiet and smooth. 240 hp 3.5 liter V6 was very powerful and responsive. This minivan was perfect! Until after the first year. First problems started with the brakes wearing out. in total, I had to change them 3 times in 4 years.another issue was the engine becoming noisy when a bit more power was applied during acceleration. Eventually, the performance was affected and the van needed more prompting when accelerating. It sounded like an old van. another problem were the power sliding doors locking up for now apparent reason. Had to send it in to Nissan many times. Aside form the negatives, the quest had some nice amenities like navigation and dvd player in the back. during the first year, this minivan experience was enjoyable. But the quest had not been reliable enough to maintain the good standard for the following 3 years. The quest had about 80 k kms when it was returned Aug 21, 2010

If you have to own a van, this is the one you want. This is my wife's daily driver. Its great for trips and swallows up more stuff than any SUV short of a Subhuman, er, uh Suburban. Handles well up to 100mph.Sep 05, 2009

Performance: speed and handling are superb. Our mechanic says we drive the van like it's a car.
Build Quality: we have not had any major problems with the car, we did get an extended warranty since we put lots of miles on our vehicle.
Appearance is a big part of why I wanted it. It's roomy too.
Gas mileage is not great but not the worst either.

I have the coolest spaceship ever! Yeah, I said it....a spaceship! It takes a little effort to start but once it gets going it is a pretty quick little spaceship! And the fact that it is a minivan, it is actually smaller than quite a few SUV's out there. A little better on gas too. You know how rocket fuel is though!Jul 28, 2008

Our lease was up, so we sold our Quest. And we have been kicking
ourselves ever since! We thought after we were done with our 3rd
minivan that we would move on to the SUV market for our family car.
However, after driving this thing for 3+ years we're spoiled. We
couldn't find anything out there that compared in every way to our
Quest. We "settled" for a 2007 Denali... and hated it.
I'm not saying I can explain it... that's just the way it is.

Gods above.
This car looks better than any of its completion. But nothing else.
It's easy to ding. The body is easy to scratch. The center console is made of crap,its all dirty and scratched up. No roll up 2nd row window. Problems all across the board. Replaced the tires and battery. Tranny constantly hunting for the correct gear.

the rear door and hatch do not open using the buttons in the car or the buttons on the remote Nissan dealer ship said all door motors, door latches work fine check all wire's after removing door panels all wire's check fine all wire have current and grounded not cuts pinch and the BCM unit works fine they reprogram the bcm but noting change. I had this van at two different shops with a total of 4 weeks of diagnostic services Nissan dealer says to replace BCM and reprogram but its not a guarantee that it will work...any advice the doors open manually the rear hatch does not open from the outside handle but the doors latch them selves right before closing...

I have a used 2004 Nissan quest, we just got it used today. As we were trying to go home, my husband realized the car wasn't speeding up. He pushed on the gas pedal and it wouldn't go any faster than it was already going. We pulled over, turned it off and then turned it back on and it worked fine. What is going on??
