This car is a big improvement over all the other Monteros I had.
Since 1989, my family has had Monteros, as the years progressed the Montero has definitely gotten better. This Montero drives great On, and Off road, its has a lot of pickup, and a great top speed faster than many sedans. I have a 300 foot long steep driveway, when it gets a foot of snow, I know I can count on my Montero to go barreling right through the snow. Although the car has only a 3.8 liter engine, it does not feel underpowered in the slightest. The 2003 Montero also got an upgrade to a great Infinity Sound system, with 350 Watts of power, however like with all mitsubishis there is a serious lack for any upgrades for the car (DVD system, Performance parts, etc). Finally, this car has a much less risk of roll-over than other monteros due to its Wider body, yet there is still a risk.Mar 27, 2008

spark plug replacement
My Montero Sport has 135,000 miles on it. It is starting to buck a little at lower speeds. My mechanic says its the spark plugs. He also said that the plugs and wires are difficult to change.Any remedies?
