Its a great vehicle were having ice and snow right now and the 4wd is working great ! So far its been a great buyJan 14, 2024

Have had this SUV since 2008. Have added a K&N air filter, got rid of trash can on back of exhaust, reprogramed spark and in summer will get 17 to 19 mpg on a trip. Very little maintance expenses. This has been a great car. 238k plus miles and still runs and looks great. I am very meticulus with up-keep, if it needs anything, it gets it asap. Gonna drive it till the wheels fall off.Feb 23, 2015

Good overall truck long trip for me the front seats were uncomfortable to ride in. Maint costs were low but it was starting to get rust underneath. Great traction with the awd 4wd drove well in most any conditions outsideSep 03, 2014

it does what it is supposed to do for me and my family . gets to work school an back home . we have had a few outtings as well an been able to have plenty of space for (5). were greatful.Jun 12, 2014

This big safe family suv drives extremely well once you add a K&N filter to it. It's a massive cardboard air-filter originally and it chokes the engine. Just buy a high quality airfilter like K&N or something even nicer and then it can spin up to 6K rpms in seconds and really go. It has a lot more pickup in the 4.2L inline then you would expect. Smooth comfortable ride. The suspension is a good set from the factory, but they wear out at about 70k with normal city use. The springs were also shot and needed to be replaced. The brakes lasted forever, I remember pulling the tires off at 75K and looking at half the pad still there and shaking my head going "really?" The need for the aftermarket high quality air filter is pretty extreme. When we first bought the Chevy it has so little power that we considered returning it to the dealer. After just the air filter change it went from sluggish and horrid to a high revving joy. It isn't a sports car by any means but it is a decent drive.Oct 20, 2012

has plenty of room both front seats are 8 way power seats the driver seat has memory recall there is a 6 disc cd changer in the dash and the sound from the radio is awesome, also has independant climate control for driver and passenger and even the back seat there is SEPERATE radio in the back with head phone jacks so if the ppl want to listen to something different thay can the spare tire is mounted under the rear deck and the jack and tire changing tools are under the rear seats so cargo space is maximized. the rear split folding seats are a plus the fold flat to the trunk level making it easy to transport larger objects if needed anti roll bars in the front and rear 4 different traction settings (rear wheel, all wheel, 4 whell hi, and 4wheel low)Sep 01, 2011

Acceleration is good on the highway, could be a little faster in town. Braking is great, handles awesome, build quality is ok. the suspension is very noisy. I think the appearance is awesome, best in it's class.gas mileage is about 16mpg. I enjoy driving it.Aug 08, 2009

I have the 5.3L V8. Iove the power for a smaller SUV. I also love the third row. I think the suspension should be a little tighter or my shocks are just worn out.Jul 03, 2008

Minor build quality issues otherwise it's a good vehicle. Found out when traded it in for my Saab that the Trailblazer was in a $20,000 accident with the previous owner. Explains why it leaned to the right and handled so poorly.Apr 14, 2008
