Used Chrysler Aspen for Sale Nationwide

For the 2006 model year, Chrysler was the only American automaker that did not offer a sport ulitity. For 2007 Chrysler introduces the Aspen. It was built from the same platform as the Dodge Durango, and the similarities continue from there. The Aspen features the rugged body-on-frame build utilized by Dodge trucks, and offers seating for eight passengers. However, the Aspen departs slightly from its Dodge counterpart as it aims for a more upscale presentation. The Aspen's only trim is The Limited, but an array of additional luxury option packages are available. The Aspen comes standard with a 4.7 liter V-8, generating 235 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. An optional 5.7 liter V-8 is also available, bumping horsepower to 335 and torque to 370 pound-feet. This 5.7 liter option is the same Hemi found in the high performance 300C sedan.
The Aspen can be had with either two-wheel or all-wheel drive, and a special 3.92 gear axle gearing is available for towing. With this gearing, the 4.7 version will tow 7500 pounds. Add the Hemi, and towing capacity jumps to 8950 pounds. The 4866 pound SUV can be expected to achieve fuel efficiency in the mid-teens.
