This care was bought simply because I needed a car and didn't have much money. Honestly, the car was cheap. I had to constantly repair the door handles because they were always breaking. The Vent switch that changes the air flow from hot to cold was the stupidest design and will break easily during an aftermarket stereo install. I would say, if you are looking for a cheap older car get a Honda or Toyota.Jul 04, 2010

I love this car!! Gets me anywhere i want to go and never have to worry about the car. Beater cars are awesome! Motor sounds so clean! for its age! I have loads of extra parts so I am not too worried about it costing me too much money to keep running :) Feb 20, 2010

I have been happy with the car, and it has only ever broken down once in the 10 years I have owned it. It is quite roomy inside, but lets in a bit of road noise in at speed.The gearbox is quite notchy and sometimes getting into reverse is tricky. It is quite economical to run, and it's size makes it a perfect city run about.Mar 29, 2008

What users have asked
getting no electricity to the fuel pump and the crank sensor
the air bags deployed,battery blew up,due to the alternater.i have replaced the following:battery,alternator,cam sensor,air bags,air bag computer,car computer,fuses,all the relays i could find,battery clamps and the car still won't start. it turns over but won't start.what am i missing?

When car is cold struggles to idle and no power when accelerated
I have 1998 Hyundai Elantra GLS. Lately my car when cold struggles to idle, sometimes cuts out. If i accelerate it seems to stick and then it picks up revs and goes. It only does this when cold. Never when hot. We have replaced the idle speed control. Any suggestions.
