Reported mileage is 22/26, yet reviewers got anywhere from 25-30 mpg on the highway, depending on panel usage, such as air conditioning. Reviewers were very happy with the comfort of the front seats, though found the bench in back to be a little more lacking.

1997 Rav 4. Replaced fuel pump and battery. Car has been run nearly dry many times so I suspected FP, when a blown FP fuse did not fix the problem. Put in new fuel pump. Still not coming on when we try to start car. Car turns over nice and strong but doesn't catch and start
I have a 97 rav 4 with 311000 miles on it. It started overheating suddenly. I put blue devil stop leak, that didn't work. I put a new water pump and thermostat, that didn't work. I just did a block test in the fluid remains blue so that is an indication that there is not a head gasket issue and It has a brand new radiator cap as well
my problem is when I go in a high way with 140km the rpm is almost 4000 also it uses more fuel then it should be. I have tried many things to solve it, for example, changing the gear or change the O2 sensor, so can anyone help me or have an idea btw the car is in 4 wheels always.
After a record cold spell in Chicago by 1997 Toyota RAV4 didnt start. The ignition wouldnt even turn. The electric lock on the doors wasnt working and no lights showed up on the dash board. Today, after the temps reached the 40s, I put the key in the ignition, the key turned to the right but it felt like a rubber band was pulling it back toward the OFF position. Nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. No noise, nothing. What should I do?
