Which suvs can my yukon engine fit in?
I have a 1997 GMC Yukon with no title thats been sitting for bout 5 years. I dont want to junk it. I was looking to find another yukon with a blown engine to swap out and buy the title to that one.

i wouldnt recommend this for anyone on a tight budget, it uses a lot of gas and the repairs are very costly . it is great for hauling anything and everything you could imagine and the seats are very comfortable so if long trips are needed its great to ride in.Apr 23, 2014

it gets terrible gas mileage but it is very fast it has a 350 with a vortex it gets around great in the snow it can do a sweet burn out athough it is a one wheel wounder it is sweat Mar 28, 2010

Awesome power and everyday commute vehicle. Easy to work on also. Looks are great and amazingly easy to tow and manuever around any obtacles towing or not towing. I would recommend this vehicle over any truck built these days easily.Sep 03, 2009

Love it! It has alot of room and is great for long trips! It is really comfortable as well. I would deffinately recomend this vehicle to anyone who has a family or to anyone that is planning on taking a bunch of people on a trip.Aug 22, 2009

The vehicle is amazing. It has strong accelleration and good pulling power. Stopping performance is good but the brake pedal travel makes the vehicle seem like it is a lot of work to stop. The handling I can not say too much about because i am running with heavy duty shocks, extra leaf springs, and helper air springs, as well as LT275/50R20 tires, so my yukon rides like a haywagon, but i still love it.
Build quality is excellent, no squeaks, rattles, the only thing is that the rear door handles both broke off inside. it has needed nothing major thus far and still runs awesome with 230000 KMS on it.
It looks great, especially with chrome 20's, and the interior desigh in PERFECT! The centre console is my best friend. Also the folding rear seats have been a life saver on several occasions.
The fuel milage on the truck is brutal, but it's the price to pay for a do-all capable vehicle.

The GMC Yukon has a very powerful Vortec V8 engine. It is built solid. Exterior styling is plain alon with the interior cheap plastics but it is very roomy with comfortable leather seats. As expected very poor gas milage but overall it requires low maintenance.It is also pretty good off road and it is also suprisingly easy to maneuver for its size.Jun 28, 2009

Great hunting vehicle. Pricey on gas but good for minor off-road use. Fair on performance but lots of add-ons to make it very fuel efficient or a great performer. Solidly built but could have a stiffer under carrage. Fun to drive and it doesn't drive like most trucks, drives more like a car than a truckAug 26, 2008

Love the vehicle, it's in great shape. I've done some modifications for performance, cold air induction and performance chip. I just wish the freaking gas prices come down so I can drive it again. Overall I love the SUV. White with tint all around, great fun to drive. I'm simply adding words to let me post this, so if this is annoying, skip it.Jul 31, 2008

1997 GMC Yukon 4x4 why my truck just shut down while driving?
I was driving down the road when my truck just quit. I have replaced the fuel pump recently also the alternator and the ignition control modular. My first thought is the computer or maybe the distributor. Other then that I am at a loss any suggestions.

Why is my AC squealing when front AC is on?
I have a 1997 GMC Yukon that squeals when the front AC is on. When just the back AC is on it is fine and quiet but as soon as I turn on the front it squeals. Could anyone help me diagnose what it is?
