MECHANIC SPECIAL!!! Car runs. Needs TLC. It will get you from point A to point B. what needs fixed?it needs a paint job. the exhaust needs some welding, not all of it, just 2 places. its louder than it should be. the heat needs fixed. the antifreeze leaks. the hood lock needs fixed. it has leather seats, a sunroof. Engine in good shape & so is the transmission. buying them used together would run about $1,600. in parts alone. The Good news, It runs. Its loud, but it starts, when the newer cars didnt during last year antarctic winter, my did. All electronics components still work, Cruise Control,Driver Airbag,Power Door Locks,Power Windows, Power mirrors,Rear Window Defogger,Tilt Steering thumbnail

What owners say

AI Summary · 4 reviews

"Overall, owners really enjoy the 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII for its impressive power and smooth drive. Many appreciate its combination of good fuel economy and performance, especially on the highway. The interior design and features, like the JBL sound system, are also big highlights. However, some drivers mention that the air suspension can be costly to repair as it ages."

My favorite car of all time, except my 1966 Olds Toronado of years ago. I love everything about this car pretty much. Especially the power it has and the fuel economy. Love the interior wrap around dash and components. Would love to have one of each year of them.

Fantastic car. 0-60 in the wink of an eye and gets 27mpg on the highway. Air suspension is a bit costly when it gets old but fix it once and it is good for another 15 years. One of Fords best!

I miss this car so much. Air Ride spaceship looks inside and out perfect color combo pearl with cream inside. A real sleeper it had the same engine that was put into the 1996 mustang cobras. No problems surprisingly good gas mileage 18/27 so smooth.
