1994 Lincoln Mark VIII Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII express a strong appreciation for its powerful performance, luxurious comfort, and sleek design. Many drivers are impressed by the car's 280-285 horsepower V8 engine, smooth ride, and overall build quality. However, some concerns arise regarding high-speed handling issues and the potential for electrical problems over time, which can detract from the overall experience."
The Lincoln Mark VII has a very powerful 32 valve 4.6 liter v8 engine. It is a very smooth ride, but has the speed you can rely on if you need it. The Lincoln Mark VIII that I own was bought for $6,500. This is a very fun car to drive, I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys class with a touch of speed.
August 9, 2008It is a classy, smooth fast luxury automobile. Excellent build quality and a reliable car.
May 17, 2020Performance is super for what this car is. Stock 280hp all aluminum teksid block cast in Italy and shipped to the USA. Only real common issue on these cars is the brakes are weird to get used to. This slick looking auto is a true mid-90's sleeper and is very affordable. I beat Mustang GT's (not the new ones) all day! It's a blast to own!

May 4, 2010Performance- Very good acceleration on Interstates, but a little slugglish at a standstill. Braking and stearing are kind of heavy. Build quality- Interior is very quiet of squeaks and rattles despite being 15 years old. But some very minor parts are starting to fall off.... Appearance- It's different from most cars on the road, but I like the look of the Buick Riviera much more.
December 6, 2009I loved the car it had 285hp and 285ft-lbs of torque it looked great sleek it was fast too handled great brakes were good but at high speeds the front end would lift up and that made the car loose but i loved the car would love to get another one someday.
February 12, 2010A very powerful 4.6lt V8 engine that generates 280 hp is the greatest feature of this car. It has carismatic looks just like it's bigger brother the TownCar but in fact it's a very energetic two door coupe. Contends primarily with the Cadillac Eldorado and the Lexus SC 400. I drove the one that my uncle owned on the highways of Toronto and I can say it's the best way to enjoy the American luxury sport-coupe tradition. It's a hot rod Lincoln in black-tie.
March 16, 2008With the 32v 4.6L motor that came in the mustang cobras this car has plenty of power. Full air ride suspension mixed with a real comfortable interior makes for a very nice ride. After owning the car for an extended period of time i found that the Mark VIII has a bad chance of developing electrical problems. Once one thing went wrong it was a downward spiral of problems before the car ended up a big green yard orniment.
April 5, 2008Air ride suspension, power everything, same engine the highway interceptors have.
