1996 Chevrolet Suburban Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Please Help? At this point I don't know what to do.

I have a 96 suburban with the 5.7 vortec. Been misfiring for about 7 months. In the time I've been throwing money at it left and right. Replaced the fuel injector, fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs (yes they're gapped), coils, throttle position sensor, all 4 02 sensors, upper intake manifold and all upper gaskets and o rings. Truck starts but high revs to 3,000rmps and then shuts off unless I continuously give it gas.

What year chevy 350 blocks will directly interchange with a 1996 350 5.7 vortec ,by doing heads, intake ,mounting hardware, and sensor swap

How do I fix my Chevy?! Well what should I try next?

I recently got my truck back from the impound lot and they left the lights on. After a week of sitting there, the battery was dead. I had it jumped, it made it home (about 4 miles). I turned it off, had to get another jump. Made it 2 miles down the road, realized it was out of gas. Pushed to accelerate and it popped lightly under the hood. Got pushed to the gas station and put a little gas in ($5 then $2). Still didn't start. Pulled it home, checked, fuse to the ignition blown. I replaced it now there barely a flow coming from the fuel pump. I also noticed my boyfriend forgot to put the gas tank lid back on. I asked him to pump while I checked the engine. The pump is brand new and I got a new battery too. What can I fix next? I'm running out of ideas and low on funds. I don't want to keep guessing but the fuse was needed and so was the battery and fuel pump.

Is there a way to get the escalade full body tail lights for the 96 suburban c1500? I know they have em for a Tahoe but I can't seem to find them for my truck.

OK please help!!! I have a 96 2wd suburban 5.7 vortec. New OEM plugs wires but the distributor new not OEM. - thanks to the old man messin with me- any ways the truck was acting like it had a miss around 50mph.. Well me and the old man was bouncing ideas came up with him agreeing I needed to have the crank shaft position sensor checked. Sure enough -19. So got er back to 0. Well it still felt a slight miss. BTW there was a tranny swap on it not long ago took the one out of his old truck and put in mine. 4l60e. Against my better judgment I take it to midas and they scan it. She sends out a list of codes blah blah . . they keep my truck for 6 days won't reallly tell me anything and keep saying they will call me right back. Not the point. Anyways they finally say that it was the wrong transmission... That I needed a new distributor and that the truck is a insurance liability for them to work on. I'm in shock and heart broke. I figure they just don't know their butt from a hole in the ground. Well I get my truck and its jerking at idle now and seems like the motor is just gonna fall out. Remember I took it in only cause it had a slight miss over 50... Wtf. Then today the old man says they told him they tried to time it... I didn't think u could time mine by hand. But I don't know crap so idk. Someone please help me. I'm not giving up on my truck and the guy at midas can suck one even if the money I need in it is more then it books. Coming from a guy saying to just basically throw parts at it. Any help would be great tia
