New starter, new battery. At first there was only the one click when I turned the key. Now there is no sound at all.. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I loved the look of the car and it is my dream car but I paid for Nissan to evaluate the condition of the car and it needs some serious suspension work, value cover gasket work and possible power steering work. If you are local and a mechanic, I believe this car would make a great project. I was 900 miles away so I can to pass.May 09, 2022

The Nissan 300zx (Z32) is a classic 90’s Japanese tuner. Get the manual over the automatic. Get the 300zx twin turbo over the non-turbo. A twin turbo with a manual is a good collectors car if you’re into that and prices are going up for nice examples. Aug 17, 2020

Nissan was ahead of their time when designing this car back in the late '80's. All wheel steering, driver adjustable suspension, twin turbo with twin intercoolers, the list goes on. Drive one and you will definately see why Nissan used to say...ENJOY THE RIDE!Jun 16, 2014

Excellent vehicle. Only buy one if you are serious about taking care of it. 300zx's are getting old, and take a fair amount of maintenance to keep them performing at their best. But when they are at their best, good luck finding anything more fun to drive for under $50,000Sep 16, 2012

The acceleration is wonderful for a girl her age. Clearly still putting up a fight
against things released to this day. The car drives like a dream, as you make
your thought of hitting the apex, its almost as though she knew. Darting the
nose into the turns, you feel a complete sense of control over the slightest
motion. I bought mine used, one previous owner, as besides the engine and
transmission replacement (which were caused by my very spirited driving), I
have not had to outright replace anything.
The styling is absolutely remarkable, having won car of the year 10 years
running. Mind you, this beauty only was in production for 10 years. As of
2010, GQ Magazine voted it the most beautiful car of the past decades, with
subtle lines, beautiful styling, and an emphasis on simplicity.
Its gas mileage could use some love, especially with the fact that I've only ever
run it on premium, V-Power. Under spirited driving, you will not make it more
than a few hundred miles between fill ups. But perhaps with a lighter foot you
could manage to squeeze an extra hundred out of that.
As far as the fun factor? I can sum my experience up in one word. Wow.
Everytime I get behind the wheel, my problems melt away as the suede and
leather interior just remind me nothing can bother me in here. Its a little world
of pleasantry, where the only problem you can run into is the police.Nov 08, 2011

It has decent acceleration but can fix that with a twin turbo swap. So far I havent had many problems with it.Just a few sensors have gone out .The interior is very comfortable and stylish...and you gotta love the t-tops.it runs a little rich so im getting right at 20mpg but i think it should be about 25mpg.this car handles great and i love driving it.May 10, 2010

The Z32 Nissan 300zx is a car that stock was made with great quality. Not only does it have a beautiful design for being several years old, but it also serves for a good performance base. The base model is a good start for a twin turbo conversion for some good power output making this car a blast to drive. When buying a car like this, you buy because you love performance machines and shouldn't be too concerned about cost of ownership. I love my Fairlady! She's been a constant work in progress. I got her back in September of 2007 and as of today (August 09) I've overhauled the engine, resealed the transmission, installed a new rack & pinion, added Stillen racing headers, some new magna flow cats, Stillen x-piped single tip dual exhaust, replaced all of the pulleys (except for the one with the harmonic balancer... although I'm told that the engine is internally balanced... I'm hesitant)........ She had a Stillen air intake installed along with a dual overhead throttle body alteration to the motor prior to my purchasing her. I had it painted with an hi sparkle"Black Cherry Red" with custom skulls and lace air brush and custom hood mural. Since I'm looking at a complete restore, I still have the interior, suspension and a few more small engine modifications to make. She handles well! I'm very happy with her. Aug 17, 2009

its friggen fast!!!! I had it chassis dyno'd last year and it made 428hp and 440 ft lbs of tq. I actually blew the motor up at one point 6 or 7 years ago somewhere around 160 or 170 mph I think it will go faster, but whats the point? Aug 05, 2009

It is one of the best Japanese 90' super sports; Well built with very stylish deisgn. Performance wise, it has a tough VQ30DE heart(NA),.. even after 14 years old, the power is still strong and sharp.
