This is an easy car to drive!
Nice basic layout inside, easy to read dials.
I have the automatic so quick it is not but reliable it is if looked after!
Easy to maintain and modify as I did to my own Clio!Sep 17, 2009

Clio Williams 1: Classic raw hot hatch from a bygone era. They don't make em like this any more. Still the King, now a Legend, this little car turns heads and kicks ass.
You can buy them cheap, run them quite cheap too. Easy to work on or modify too! Excellent track car.Jul 13, 2009

170 odd bhp per ton always a good starter, but add in one of the best 'lift an inside rear' chassis and you've got the picture. Probably allows a little more exploration on the limit than the classic 205GTI.
Great on the road or track, easy on the eye, fairly cheap to maintain and run.
Typical French build quality, viz anything over 60k miles and it creaks or rattles a bit, but mechanically bullet-proof.Aug 05, 2008

I would say that rust is the main rival to this car and currently its winning.
Great fuel economy though, 45-50 mpg on the motorways, not so great inner-city thoughDec 08, 2007

Top all rounder - Fast, Handles like it's on rails, and stops like a rabbit in headlights.
Good fuel economy due to it being the same weight as a box of tissues.Nov 27, 2007
