My friend owns a predecessor to my 1998 Maxima, his is from 1992 and all of a sudden the break lights don't want to turn off, we checked multiple times for things that were on (Like the headlights) in the end we disconnected the battery.....I am slightly car savvy and my friend isn't at all, we are both 18 and both Maximas are our first cars, we would appreciate any help on this problem
battery light stays on and instruments not working except rev counter works temporally. speedometer at zero. battery is charging. What could be the problem.
Ok out of the blue my car cuts off I first thought it was an idle air control valve issue bought a new one a new fuel filter, throttle position sensor, knock sensor can someone please help the car only have 91k miles
Is Nissan Maxima truly the best car of all time?
i have been having a problem with the windows in my max for quite sometime...they will start working pretty slow, then they will fall completely down...then i will take off the door panel and try to fix the problem...only to find a mess of cables...i have also seen another maxima at my apt. complex with the same problem...my question is ...has any one else had this problem...or does anyone know if this is a problem that all nissans have or more specifically maximas? thanks.
