Its a 1997 Lincoln Town car 6dr limo. These 6dr 9 passenger limos used by funeral homes are usually low mileage, well maintained, garaged vehicles that are usually sold at bargain prices compared to standard models. Not a party limo.May 13, 2021

it has a lot of power and the ride is great i love this car because it is a land yacht
big and beautiful lots of room to move the seats are very comfortable great for a long road trip
it is built like a tank
but it is a little on the thursty side
in the city but get it on the highway and it will go about 5-600 miles to the tankfull
overall it is a fun car for a long drive

great on gas 4.6L V 8 and it has more room then most trucks ! camping with the canoe and my large dog or just driving back and forth there is no better ride. i have tried all kinds of cars small, big, front wheel, all wheel,l rear wheel drive and i have found the very best to be big cars rear wheel drive with a sweet fuel injected V8.Sep 22, 2010

Don't! Go with a newer one! It may have just been mine but i started having all
kinds of problems with it. Too many to list, it has sadly went to the scrap yard, it

performance was pretty good for such a big car, one thing though is that the air bag suspension tears if you kick it sideways,the car was decently fun on the take off but a bit scary on turns, but i also had modded mine a bit with parts off a 5.0 mustang that had rolled May 03, 2010

This is an older car, but def. a good one. It has the very reliable 4.6L V8, mated to the reliable transmission that was from the 1980s. It is comfortable and very luxurious. The keypad entry is a great feature. Jan 05, 2010

The best ride ever!! My kids say it's a "gangsta car" . Great exceleration up the mountian with the super V8 and it has an automatic starter so it can be all warmed up for me in the morning! Lots of room! 24mpg 154,000 miles. Perfect in and out. Huge trunk (would hold 5 or 6 bodies easily). No car payments! Save the money for all the accessories and updates for a great look.Nov 25, 2008

I Am Starting A 1991 Lincoln Town Car That Was Not Run For Several Years
Hello, My father recently died and I decided to purchase his 1991 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series, but he didn't drive this car for about 3 - 5 years. When the car was parked, the engine was running well. I was in the garage today trying to charge the battery, but it gone. I'll purchase another battery. I thought that i would start the start up process by completing the following: 1) Change Engine Oil 2) Flush Radiator, refill with new antifreeze 3) Remove spark plugs and check. 4) change gas filter and refill with fresh gas Once in the past on another car that i started up after sitting for a very long time, i removed the spark plugs and squirted a light oil into the pistons and let it sit for about day or two. Then I changed the oil and try to crank the engine without the spark plugs to make sure everything was freed up. Now you may be seeing my question(s). I can't remove the spark plugs to put oil down into the cylinders in the overhead cam V8 or can I? Any suggestions? Should I do anything else before attempting to start this vehicle again? I would rather spend hours preparing then to try to start this engine and cause ti to have any issues. I think the car has less than 50,000 miles. Thank you for your help, Ed Podowski

Tail lights and dash lights are out, but everything else works?
I have a 1991 Lincoln Towncar, and the tail lights went out, and the dash lights went out. It happened at the same time. All other lights are fine. Any ideas? The fuses have been checked, and that's not the problem.

Wont start
Hi. My 91lincoln town car.v8 wont start after running perfectly normal. I can get in start it no problem go to the store get back in only to be left stranded. It turns over but will not start. However once it sits for usually 5 to 10 minutes it will start and back to normal again until next store run or whatever. Very frustrating does anyone have any suggestions?? Any is apreciated. Thank you. Jack
