They don't make 'em like this anymore. No fancy parts. No computer codes. Reliable, easy to troubleshoot and cheap to fix. I paid $2200 for this truck 10 years and 100,000 miles ago. It has required very little repair. It is an exceptional utilitarian vehicle that does what I ask of it extremely well. The V6 is a great motor for the light frame and body. The extra leaf lets you cary a ton in the bed although, on very rare occasions, I have carried 2,500 lbs. a short distance without the tires rubbing. The long bed gives plenty of room to load up. This is a perfect truck for in-bed campers or towing trailers. At 24 years old and 250,000 miles, it is going strong. My 1-Ton is sort of like a favorite dog, and it is likely that I'll still be driving it ten years from now.Jan 13, 2013

cost of parts for anything on the truck and location of common parts that need to be replaced the jack that come with is crap and the tool to lower the spare tire could used review and redesigning thats all i can realy think of Oct 10, 2012

Well I owned this truck for 3 years now.And it's been a good truck in my book. It is a money pit but it does have almost 220k miles to.If you get one get the 22r or 22re the 3.0 v6 sucked bad.Mar 07, 2011
