- Performance; Best 1/4 Mile : 12.212, OEM Honda CRV Brakes, Handles like a
gokart
- Very mint condition, brand new recaro racing seats installed
- Very stock in appearance, only visual changes are wheels which are Simmons b45
- On a full tank, if i drive appropriately :) it will last me quite a while
- Very fun to drive, has beaten Evo's, Imprezas and even v8'sNov 04, 2011

Great performance, decent fuel economy, fun to drive. Pity it had been abused, but still ran well for the most part. Got pretty rust, had some squeaks and rattles. I would love to have had it in better condition, though.Feb 15, 2010

I LOVED THIS CAR. Says it all really. The engine was awsome, the way it just kept revving. Handling was great as it was such a light car and it was well put together but you expect the with Jap motors. If I could find a good one, I would have another.May 10, 2009

There were 2 models - the 1.6 and the V-TEC.
There was only about 10 BHP difference between the two models.
Common issues with the car was body work rust, areas in particular that were a problem were the rear wheel arches and the sun roof.
There was also issues with the spark ignitor on this model, but a reasonable cheap thing to fix.
Of its time it was the fastest standard 1.6 on the market. Would easily reach 130mph.
It would handle like a roller skate, a little pocket rocket!Sep 08, 2008

This car is a sport compact classic! Super reliable, awesome gas mileage, fun to
drive. I have own this thing for 8 years and never had any mayor problems. If you
can find one in good condition buy it! I recommend the Si model but any other
model with the 5 speed tranny. Aug 31, 2008

I only had it for a short amount of time but it was a fun sporty car that got killer gas mileage. It felt firm on the road and was like driving a fast go cart because it was so low to the ground.
Ran like a champ and never really needed anything.Aug 20, 2008

This is a great little car. The gas mileage is great and gets up and goes. Its alittle small on interior room, but its cheap and a great tuner car to race. I love driving it its like a touring car great around turns. There are so many after market parts for them and you get the reliability of the honda name.Aug 13, 2008

Awesome handling, very quick, and cheap to maintain.
Makes an excellent project car to make it look fast and
actually be fast. Fun to drive. There are parts
everywhere for these cars and you can buy them in
decent condition for dirt cheap. Seems like you're
driving a big go-cart, it's awesome.Aug 01, 2008

This car was very bare-bones and fun. They don't make them like the CRX anymore.Apr 03, 2008

everything form the HF to the Si gets good gas mileage, some better than the others. The CRX platform is a very interesting looking car that most people seem to love, kids like the "Matchbox" look, girls think its cute, and guys can't get past the great performance. The Honda engines are rock solid and supply more than enough grunt to pull along these little cars. The transmissions are geared pretty steep, but the still do well on long distance highway trips. The handling of the CRX is amazing! The short wheelbase and lightweight make it an ideal car for short, quick turns such as in autocross. Since most of the weight is on the front of the vehicle (around 55-60% of it) the crx can also kick out the rear end while doing some high speed turns, which is a blast for more experienced drivers. The interior is tastefully done for a 1980's vehicle and is host to many storage compartments, some of which even lock.Feb 19, 2008

This car is hardly to compare with the original CRX because lots of technical mods have been made. In terms of reliability, I had some problems (broken brake-hose because of the extreme suspension, problems with the ignition), but I always used to forget these things very fast because my ED9 was such a nice and fast car that caused me so much driving pleasure. My buddies car, I tried to learn standard on it but realized I suck at it. Its body was covered in the plague (rust). He had lots of issues with it, engine swap old one was burning oil, gas tank leaked. However it was fun to drive in once he had the new engine, other boy racers always tried to race him not knowing the new engine was way more powerful then the last. Great memories in this thing, it will be missed.Dec 11, 2007
