88 dodge ram, no spark
has new ignition mod, coil, battery, wires, cap and rotor, ignition resistor, only has 8.5 volts going to coil, book said starter relay bad, auto parts store said it doesnt have one

this thing should not be driven. there is no floor. the box is held together by the box liner. i have swapped the bench seat for one from a 86 diplommat. its real comfortable. a bit short though. oh wellAug 21, 2010

I bought this littlw two wheel drive v6 from my freinds girl freind it ran fine for about 9000 miles. It would pull any trailer i put behind it but it burned oil and it was an ok ride its now siting on my uncles farm with a bad wireing harnessFeb 28, 2010

the truck was a dog when it ran rebuilt the engine with flat top pistons and never got it started, towed it with a strap 30 miles with a diesel caddy and it has sat at my parents barn ever since. the engine wont even turn over nowSep 11, 2009

My Very First Vehicle, Tonnes of great memories in it, Even tho it's not the fastest thing on the road it's still my favorite. and i'll Probably never get rid of it Hopfully one day I'll fix it back up.Sep 03, 2009

Does not have the acceleration that it should from a V8, handles and drives great though. Constantly makes noises, i have stopped trying to figure out wat they are all from. Body starting to rust, underbody covered in surface rust. Gas mileage not too bad for the age of the truck. Pretty fun to drive although with the 4 wheel leaf spring suspension it does make for a rough ride.Aug 19, 2009

My dodge is a 3 owner truck counting me and the 318 is bullett
proof but its going to get a 360 punched .030 over :) It drives
like a dream brakes are solid This is the nicest 88 all original
dodge i have seen. gas is gas you know its gonna use it but the
1500 i paid for it makes it all worth it!!! I reccomend a dodge to

I have been rebuilding this ugly monster for a few years now. So far I have rebuilt the engine and some of the drive train. The 1969 440 has been built specially for propane and is giving me 500 hp! Very difficult to get stuck, trust me, I've tried! I need to finish the interior, it's mostly all out of a ramcharger, then it's off to the paint booth. She's a 1988 Dodge Ram 100, 4x4, got a 318 V8 under the hood and, despite the outward appearance, solid as a rock. I'm her third owner. She's got a set of 31" tires on her. The engine has around 180, 650 miles on it.May 19, 2008

this truck is big, its fun, and it could drag any other car out of the parking lot. toss some big tires on this and you've made yourself an off road machine.
with the slant 6 engine you can feel the power under you foot. its extremely reliable and it takes a lot to see this thing break down. mine has over 250,000 miles on it and it still roars like the day it was driven off the lot.
the biggest down side and only true upset with this truck is the gas mileage.Apr 15, 2008
