It is technically an antique. It runs well, it gets to hot sometimes and you will have to pull over and wait for it to cool down, but overall its a good truck and will get you where you need to go.Mar 08, 2014

this old bitch wont die. ive never owed a car stronger, tougher, or more powerfull than my dodge, 17 second drags no problem... consistant all day, 8000 rpm at truck pulls shiftin of the colum.. easy, bangin rev roastin em off on college... a hell of a good time, just wish she looked a little better doin it.Jun 09, 2011

fast take off but only goes about 90, best quality all around i love this truck, body is a little rust but it moves, bad gas milage but gets up and goes, this truck is the best truck i will ever driveJan 08, 2011

it was a short box regular cab with a four speed manual tranny and yes it had granny gear. this truck was great i never got stuck once in this truck it had a 360 v8 and thats all it needed If your lookin to build a mudd truck this aint a badb base to start withJan 25, 2010

how many can claim a 1984 ram for a daily driver !! performance-get real ! quality age speaks for itself ! Appearance, they can't get the roof paint right yet. Good to drive a truck once in a while! Fun if you like a truck !Jan 22, 2010

Pulls like a train, handling is light and easy, looks like a truck should, practical and simple interior made for work, fun to play with in the mud, needed lots of repairing- through no fault of its own- engine transplant was not thoroughly thought through or completed by previous owner, thus making a complete mess of everything.Jun 24, 2009

I've had this truck since i was 15. it runs great! i put a 4 barrel Eddelbrock carburetor in it and all tho it gets 5 miles to the gallon I will NEVER NEVER sell it. unless the price is rightMay 17, 2008

I bought the truck in the summer of 2005 from a preacher in missouri. The truck was nearly bone stock until I got a hold of it. Its got a 318 bored .020 over, a weiand single plane intake, rv cam, a 750 holley double pumper, a 727 tranny with shift kit, and almost nothing has been untouched under the hood, but it also has aftermarket wheels, true dual exhaust, custom front bumper, blacked out windows, and too many custom upgrades to mention.Apr 14, 2008

Lol its dece, i mean it is 24 years old. All things consider it runs pretty good. Itll always start, even in -40 weather...barely, but it does! Obviously lost a lot of power over the years, but it still goes.Feb 08, 2008

This truck is very ugly. A box on wheels. It's saving grace is a nice powerplant (360 engine/727 transmission) and 4 wheel drive. Overall, a very dependable truck with plenty of power and decent gas mileage for a V8.Jan 02, 2008
