ive only had this truck for three months, have only driven it about 2 weeks of that time the rest of time im working on it. main reason im joining this forum, i know when i need help, and there are going to be questions i need help with. oh this truck is far from finished.Aug 31, 2011

I have a R20 series with the heavy duty tow package and the Big Block 454 or 7.4L engine with a THM400 transmission. this vehicle has been in my family for about 15 years and we've had the engine rebuilt only once since we had it. very reliable, parts aren't too expensive, runs really hot though, especially when towing. gas mileage is usually around 6-7 when pulling and if cruising lightly you might see 9.Aug 25, 2009

For as large as it was it handled and perfomed great for me. i caould haul lots of people and if i needed it i could use it like a truck. i loved to drive it , then agian i like big cars/rucks Feb 17, 2009

a gd family 4x4 tinted windows bucket seats swapped out the 350 myself could use 4 n 2 suspension and body lift maybe 33 to sit it right dont even feel 140 on the highway good for towing and its an 8 seaterDec 18, 2008

88 suburban
my dad let me use his 88 suburban, i drove from his house to mine (about a mile) no issue. when i went to leave my house, the truck wouldnt start. we were thinking maybe the switch went out because we've been having problems with it anyway ever since my brother broke the key off in it. So we went to the part store and bought another switch with a new key, replaced it and now we get no connection at all. Before the lights and gages would come on, now nothing. and there is no tension when the key is pushed like there should be. My guess is old wires in the column or the fuel pump? dad said if it was the fuel pump, the lights and such would still come on like before. makes sense to me, but i still cant figure out why the hell we cant get the damn thing fixed... helppppp

front brakes pull when pressing brake pedal
I have 1988 Chev suburban 2 wheel drive. when I would apply brakes, vehicle would pull to the left, then when released vehicle would pull to the right. I replaced the front brakes, new pads ,rotors and calipers, along with rear brake shoes. it still does the same thing, So what should i look for next
