a 1.4s, my first car and we all have good memories of our first car, mine had done 240,000 miles before it died of rust monkeys, very reliable and if it wasn't you could repair it by smacking it with a hammer, good handling, quite nippy, cheap to run and very fond memoriesSep 24, 2010

Quite good car for everyday-using. It isn't new but gives a lot o fun when you're hanging around the streets or ridin' shopping. It seems to be cheap ride but original Ford Fiesta XR2 parts are or hard getting or even unavailable.Aug 16, 2010

A fun little car. 1.1l engine economical, cheap insurance and quite 'nippy' really. Cheap and easy to maintain, (especially if you're handy with a MIG welder!)
I fitted the XR2 bodykit to hide all the rust around the bottom! faster than you might imagine!Feb 20, 2009

Fiesta XR2. Great hot hatch for its day, performance
wise. But thats about it. Insurance way too expensive,
fuel economy abysmal. Reliability is poor, burns lots of
oil too. Sporty interior. Exterior, like the trim. Alloys
nice too. Ride is pretty hard, but great off the lights.
otherwise, don't buy it!Aug 22, 2008

nippy great handling can give a lot of higher powered cars a run for their money on country lanes now starting to become highly sort after. build quality as you can expect for an eightys ford ain't the best but simple and does the job.styling is in a class of its own. running costs are small jjust getting hard to find parts now.
fun factor well it's greatJul 19, 2008

One of 3 company cars provided for the new Designers at MGA Developments Design Studio.
Mine was blue ..... did thousands of miles, all trouble free. Fun to drive. Handy for trips to IKEA, as we built up our first home in England, after returning form living in EuropeMay 29, 2008
