The 928 was a revolutionary Porsche in many ways. Its a great used value today providing it was well maintained. The design is not dated in any way.Jun 18, 2023

I love all Porsche cars, the 928 is no exception. It is my ideal 80s car and every time I drove it I'd listen to cassettes and go back in time. If I see another one worth grabbing I will - as the price on good examples seems to be going up. I sold mine for more than I bought it but I put a lot of time and money to keep it running and be able to enjoy it. So I understand why the car is going up in price,May 10, 2014

fantastic! BIG power! I have had almost no problems with this car. It will give you a face lift in first gear. Mine is a euro model "s". For the money a well maintained 928 cannot be beat. I love this car! Dec 27, 2010

The 928 is vastly undervalued and underapperciated. Its styling is still good and the performance is too. Maitenance is on the expensive side but its reliable and parts are available for a price. Definently a lot of car for the money.Apr 01, 2008

I was installing a new radio in my 1985 Porsche 928 and it was working when fuse to radio blew I believe. I replaced fuse with higher amp one but radio did not come on again. Soon all the power went off in the car. I have disconnected radio but no power to the car anywhere now,

1985 928 Porsche Starts and Runs but....
My 1985 Porsche starts and runs great sitting at idle. However, when I get in and drive it dies as soon as I take my foot off the gas. It has an air slide valve but no air idle control valve that I can see. I'm wondering what possible causes might be and am looking for the top few items that fail commonly on this car. I've only owned it a few months and love it and it only has 50k miles on the clock....want to keep her running.
