My dream car. Finally bought one after much research. It outperforms many modern cars, and is more car than I need. After 15+years its holding up very nicely, no squeaks or rattles. They built em soundly in stuttgart. UnmistakableSep 10, 2009

Cheap to buy but expensive to keep on the road. Make sure there is a mechanic in your area that can work on these cars before you buy one. It feels really solid for an 18 year old car. It still looks good and performs well. Great performance for a 1990 automobile but it does not have the scary fast acceleration of a current year Corvette. A good car for long trips but make sure you have the top of the line AAA membership in case you break down in the middle of nowhere. I've been lucky and never experienced a break down. Maybe I am too paranoid about my baby breaking down Radiator Springs and having to call Mater to tow it to Winnemucca. Jan 28, 2009

Car stalls with clutch in and in gear at idle

The car stalls, but only in specific instances: - When I'm coming to a stop, I push in the clutch and keep the car in gear while coming to a stop - the rpm's dip WAY down; sometimes the car stalls, sometimes it catches itself. - When I'm stopped or moving very slowly, if I push in the clutch, put the car in first gear and rev the engine up to 4,000rpm, then let off the gas completely, this always has the rpm's dip way too low, almost stalling or stalling completely. Any idea what it could be? The porsche dealership I took it to charged me $4,000 to replace some parts, swearing the problem was fixed, and the same day I drove it off, the problem cropped up again. I'm totally sick of those lying cheating assholes
