my gas gauge reads "E" all the time regardless of how much fuel I have. Any tips as to how I might be able to reset it?

Won't Start
So my car was running fine yesterday, this morning I got a jump started right up, on my way to my next destination I lost all electrical my speedometer went to 80mph and the car started running sluggish, I drove it another half mile to the gas station, put it in park at the pumps, it ran for a few more mins, and died. I turned off the ignition waited 10 min and got another jump, nothing? Not even a door bell ding no lights no sound just quite, can you help me?
