Just recently bought this car from a dealer who I believe got it from an auction. Car is beautiful only had 47000 miles on it, test drove it. Sounded good handled good and just was an awesome car for like 3 days, then the instrument panel lights starting lighting up and started losing power. Replaced alternator and battery, still having issues with it not wanting to start. Flushed radiator and replaced thermostat and still get the temp light coming on occasionally.Mar 14, 2011

I love our cadillac! It is a good reliable car, Roof needs to be done though and could use a nice paint job! We're getting there!! :) Pretty good on gas, Drives well. Overall an awesome car!! I love driving it! Maintenence is well kept as well! Great car overall! Interior is still as gorgeous as when bought. Owner has taken very good care of this car. Sep 14, 2008

This car was awesome. It rode like a dream.. The velvet blue interior and power everything along with the Kenwood stereo and hydralics made this car amazing. The major downfall was the 10 miles per gallon gas it got. It is a great family car or a pimp daddy mobileAug 21, 2008

1983 cadillac sedan deville v belt help
I bought an '83 Cadillac sedan deville last month, that had a broken belt within the v belt system. I got a replacement belt and my now ex boyfriend installed it, but he did a horrible job, it came off, and I realized he hadn't installed it right to begin with. I'm looking for some instructions or links to instructions (video, diagram, written, etc) that I can reference to try my own hand at fixing it (after I make sure the belt is even still okay, as I'm pretty sure it sustained some damage when it fell out of place) I suspect I'm going to have to remove the fan cover, as well as 2 support bars directly above it, to do this repair, as I likely need to remove and shift at least 1 belt other than the one that came detached. I have slim to no knowledge about cars and their parts/how to repair them, so beginner type instructions (or additional links to sources I can reference the basics and terms from) would be much appreciated. A list of tools I'll need to use for the various bolts and such would be very helpful as well. Thank you! Note: it says sedan FWD, but it's a rear wheel drive. I can also get engine specs and pictures tomorrow if that would help

Trunk won’t close all the way?
The trunk won’t close all the way and it makes a buzzing sound and goes down as if it’s going to close but then starts coming back. Just wanted to know what can cause it, I see the piece of really thin metal that appears to be bent, wanted to know if this will cause anything to not work or would it be something else?
