dislike that the build took almost 6 years has been on the road now for all most a year trust me it was well worth the wait. I guess now all there is to do is start the next one with will be a toyota of all things haha! still should be fun.May 30, 2013

This car was an absolute disaster from a Qualty standpoint. Quality is Job#1, and Ford's working their way up the list. Bought new with 5.0L and SROD 4 speed. 1. The trnsmission housing wore out and absolutely ZERO support from Ford. Other Mustangs and Capris I know experienced same issue, noticable as vibration on the shifter. 2. Floorboards cracked under warranty - 20,000KM and were repaired after sufficient argument. Noticeable by loose seat tracks, and again a common problem on ALL Mustangs & Capris of the era. 3. Failed brake equalizer valve caused an accident. Ford replaced the equalizer valve. I repaired the fenders. 4. Rusted out rear deck at hatchback after 3 years. No support from Ford due to !!! MILEAGE !!! ??? I could go on ... Having been a former Ford fan, in the subsequent 20 years I have refused to purchase another Ford due to the absolutely HORRIBLE Corporate response and attitude on a car that was babied, and still basically scrap after 3 years. Ford Corporate quite literally laughed at me and reminded me that I was "lucky to have bought extended warranty" when I asked them to make good for consideration on a replacement for a trade in. I now drive BMWs. Cost a bit more, but MUCH better quality once you get past the snobbishness at some dealers. Repair costs are in line, but FAR less frequent or critical.Jul 05, 2010

Well, for me it was a nice car because it was fast enough for my liking, with a strong enging, a 4-speed manual transmission and a T-top, it was everything i wanted and a whole lot more, even my brother liked the way it worked!Sep 05, 2009
