Only had the car for one week, bought it cheap, sold it for more. Loved the econometer, it was in the red if you even looked at the throttle while there was no power coming from the engine that you would notice.Feb 04, 2013

Busy painting the car ,body work takes forever!The head is
going to SAC for the following:skimming porting over
size valves and gas flowing.Looking for wheels so i can send
the old ones in for reconditioning.Its going to have load of

It was a black ford escort lx sport with a great sound system.
great looking. Very responsive. It was a standard model. I put adent in the back cuz I had a broken leg and could not hols the clutch on a steep hill at a stop sign. Sun roof. funFeb 14, 2009

Had one of these for 2 years and had no problems at all. Had a 1.1L so did not have the performance. I did however managed to fit a lot of parts from an XR3 and XR3i to give it a more sporty look.Jul 05, 2008

1600 CVH Motor, twin 40 weber sides, split 275-278 cam, venier pully, cowly branches, full freeflow. Twin alliminium touring fin, 15" spyder mags with firestone tires, sports bumper with sideskirts, tinted windows. Colour coded pipes and wires in engin bay. 12" ported starsound sub 1500watt, 2x Starsound 500 watt 6X9`s, 1200 watt cobra amp, 3000 watt monoblock, JVC DVD frontloader wit 7" indash screen. Fibreglass dashboard also colour coded. Next will be a sprayjob in either metallic or satin/matt black with two reclinable bucket seats, 17" rims with a 60mm drop.Mar 31, 2008

owned 2 years ago have it for 7 years love my classic fords its a rs1600i it was diffrent to your normal rs or xr3 it have the grahics as standerd ran on twin coils not a dizzy had shard grey trim which was only avaliable on the rs1600i it came with frontlower spoiler and rear which were only avaible on rs1600is very rare sort after car along with the bits Jan 10, 2008
