This is a very nice driving car. It's solid and quite. Is very good handling car. There unique and a little more rare. They where built for the older generation for touring Germany. Having the books and service records is important for these cars for they need regular maintenance like most high line cars. It's a car that definitely gets noticed.

Wasn't anything I dislike. This car is solid quite ride. It's fun to drive and turns heads every where you go. It's a little more rare because of the 5 speed trany. It corners great and is comfortable on long trips.May 21, 2015

I love the power and handling of this vehicle. It is impressive just sitting there. It just begs you to drive it.
I don't like backing the car up. Its hard to see out the back window. On the upside I rarely back up!Aug 19, 2013

the car looks amazing interior and exterior, it has the infamous Porsche build quality but the car produces less horsepower then you would expect form a V8 only producing 220 horsepower for the american models and 240 for the European models.Nov 10, 2009

supercar was originally built to replace the Porsche 911. Runs great
mechanically, but like all Porsche's needs some help with electrical

1979 928...i was have a fuel issue and narrowed the problem down to the fuel distributor
1979 928 cis injection. I have good fuel pressure going into the distributor but no fuel pressure out of the lines to the injectors. what could cause this. is there any way I can remove the fuel distributor and clean it or do I need to replace it. or is there another problem. THANKS

i have a 80 928. im getting good fuel pressure to the injectors and i have good spark but the car still wont run.
if I keep giving it starting fluid it will run. checked the fuses and all seem to have power. I not sure how to check the injector pulse I don't see an electrical connector on any of them if I had to guess at it I don't believe my injectors are firing. need help in the right direction from here. thanks for all that have been helping me......

1979 porsche 928, cis fuel system which means there is fuel all the to the injectors . so if i have a good spark and fuel why dont car stay running. porsche 928.
79 Porsche 928 have cis fuel system..(constant fuel to injectors). if I have spark, fuel and compression car shot start? well it does as long as I keep giving it starting fluid. pulled a few injectors they are wet, which makes me think they are firing. don't fully understand what causes car not to stay running if all three major components are present. could not enough pressure from the fuel pump cause this problem? just bought a new pump.it wasn't a bosch.
