Not too many dislikes about the car. But one is the gucci fabric that I chose. Its not for sitting on and it has a 6 month wear before I have to replace it. I spent a lot of timein Texas where there is a carshow every weekend, so I was pretty busy trying to keep up with the shows and the categories. I plan to freshin it up within th next 6 months, keeping the origional appearance and also keeping it appealing to look at. I normally take the crowd werever I go and thats more exciting than winning the first place trophey. Nov 08, 2011

Love these cars this Is my 5th one, Ive had one with a moonroof, and three hard tops and this one with the t-tops. I personally feel that these are the best looking Monte Carlos ever built, cant understand why G.M. only produced them for three years. The short production run does mean less available parts, so you have to learn what interchanges with other G.M. models.Oct 25, 2010

While built during a depressing time for automobile, this can is amazing. The original 140 hp 305 CID V8 is well underpowered. Even so, it is a fun car to drive being under 3100 pounds. This is one of the best looking cars of the time. Long swooping lines give this car a larger appearance than it really is. There is great style on all corners of the car. This car has been commonly used for low-riders so finding a solid Monte Carlo can be difficult. To add, finding replacement parts can get expensive if you can find them. The counter is you can pick up on of these fairly cheap. May 05, 2010

She was my first,and best looking of any car i've owned.Handled like it was on rails and enough power to keep anyone pinned to the back of their seat.It had a decent ground effects package and was painted a metallic light brown with matching rims.Limo tint damn near on all windows,tinted headlight covers with heartbeat lines done in white pinstripping and the same across the rear window. The lines had only one beat showing cause she would stop your heart for a moment when she rolled by.Nov 21, 2009

Well first off I'm only 16 so I basically use it to run to school, work, some car shows, and wherever else I need to go. Right now it has a small block chevy 350 with a rochester 4-barrel quadrajet carb and a superstock cam in it, otherwise its basically stock. Overall it runs great, sounds excellent with the true-dual exhaust and dual glasspacks, and is pretty reliable for an older car. It is a two tone car with black up top and silver below with an arcticat green flame lick separating the two. I do have some pictures but only from when my uncle Dean and I did the painting but hopefully I will get some more. I got it when I was 14 for $800. I have been working with Dean at my grandpa's repair shop, Dan's Repair, since I was 11 so I had a nice chunk of money in the bank. Across the cost of paint, rebuilding the engine, regular restoration parts, and aftermarket interior panels I've only spent about $5,400. Engiine runs great, puts out about 370 horsepower and 390 ft. lbs. of torque and will still get about 20-24 mpg. Jun 17, 2009

loved the car was best i ever had and would buy another in blink of an eye. wasnt best looking when i got it but a few dollars later it was decent lookin peformance was great had a chevy smallblock 350 i had probs with the alternator and battery but i was pulling almost 4000 watts with my stereo system car handled great and was and is still my dream car.Nov 07, 2008

It was an awesome car - for the summer. It sounded awesome and with only a 305. Had good acceleration and handling however, in winter time if you do not have patience or enough experience with RWD in winter, it can be pretty frustrating and scary. Due to how old it was and that it had not been taken that good of care of by previous owners, problems started to rise. Dec 19, 2007
