Although according to some reports, Honda was working on rethinking the Accord, there were few changes in the 1977 Honda Accord.

It still came as a two-door hatchback and transmission choices were a five-speed manual or two-speed automatic. But this year, there was also a four-door model available. It even garnered the Car of the Year award by Road Test Magazine in the under $5,000 class.

For those who love rebuilding, there are still lots of '77 Accord parts and repair manuals available online.
