1976 Toyota Corolla Preview summaryImage

Most of the existing Corollas remained the same for 1976, with the exception of the sports coupe, which was redesigned to look sportier and to set it apart from the rest of the Corolla lineup. Sharing its front-end styling was a new three-door liftback.

The 1976 Toyota Corolla came in many body styles with several trim levels. The two- and four-door sedan came as a standard, DX or E5. The hardtop coupe and sports coupe came as a standard or a SR5. The wagon came as a standard or DX. The liftback came as a standard and SR5. All came with a 1.6-liter engine, except for the two-door sedan, which came with a 1.2-liter engine.

With the introduction of the liftback and the restyling of the coupe, Toyota gave consumers some sporty options that were much more affordable than the Celica, Toyota's other sports model.

I have TWO corolla's, and some NOS parts that I am willing to sell together as a package deal for $1000.00 The first two pics are of the manual trans car which has the best body, pretty straight with minimal rust. Will need some work in the battery area from battery acid leaking. The third pic is the 77 with automatic that is all original with factory emissions in place and runs great just needs fuel pump installed that is included. has had some crappy body work done and has rust in the lower rear quarter panels. Would not take much to swap some parts an get it on the road. I will be glad to start it up for you to hear ..
