we just bought a 1975 vw. We were told it was a super beetle but it doesn't say on the title, all it says is that it is a model 1101 so how do we find out. Thanks Steve

Im looking for an engine casing, for my 75 super beetle and the average price for a new one is between $1000-1300, i found one that was ported and cleaned for 500. Is that a good deal

75 oil water mixed on sitting car

Have 75 conv super beetle. Thats been sitting for months due to bad struts and bad conv top that havent replaced yet.. When went to start car checked oil. Water ,i think started spewing from dipstick area. Drain oil from car and it was milky brown. I believe water n oil mixed. Not sure how this happened , car not been driven . What to do to repair or trouble shoot. Not much of a mechanic. Lol

1975 VW super Beetle original seats

Where can I buy replacement front seats? Looking to buy a 75 super beetle and someone put Lexus seats in it. I've searched high and low and only found upholstery. I need New (used) seats that I can reupholster to go in the car. If I can't find them I won't be buying this car.
