72 Impala for Sale
I have a 1972 Impala for sale in Portland, OR. One owner, 98k original miles, 2-dr w/vinyl top, v8. Asking $4,800.

The 1972 Impala was the last year a convertible trim was available, and only 6,456 of these were produced. The base engine remained a 250-ci V6 rated at 145 horsepower, but a 400-ci V8 rated at 170 horsepower was available.
The car was not touted as a racing vehicle, but as a smooth-riding family car. There were a few problems with these cars, including "Badge of Excellence" a crack that appeared so routinely in 1972 (and other early-70s) Impalas that owners joked they should have been noted in the spec sheets.
Ample parts are available for 1972 Impalas, and they remain popular restoration and tuning projects.

What was the name brand of the tires on a 1972 Impala when it came from the factory ?
How do I replace the tail light bulb? I looked in the trunk and there is nowhere for me to pull the bulbs out, I think they are literally in the bumper of my impala convertible
I switched out my 72 impala rear end with the rear from a 96 impala ss. The original rear had drum brakes and the ss has disc brakes, everything bolted right up with no problem. I noticed that the E brake cables on the 96 ss were way longer than the ones on the original rear and it also has a different fitting on the end that connects to the inner side of the caliper, the fitting is connected to a hook that locks the brakes when you step on the pedal. I have no I sea how to make this work the original cables on the 72 rear end are 37.062 inches and the one on the 96 ss rear end are almost or about 73 inches! Does anyone have an answer so I can get this tool in care of ASAP!???? I put a pic of the 96 ss parking brake cable piece that is not on the original rears cable
