1969 Lincoln continental fuel primer
Hey! I just hooked up a new carburetor and wiring harness on my Lincoln 1969 continental. To the best of my knowledge everything is correctly installed. I have voltage everywhere when I cycle the key except to the fuel pump. What would cause this issue? When I cycle the key there is power everywhere and usually the fuel pump should prime after 2.5 seconds however this is not the case
How to battery hookup on 1969 Lincoln Continental? Which is positive/Negative, they are not color coated?
There is a long cable and Short Cable, which is positive and which is negative? I am trying to start a car for my ill father.
No power from battery
Battery is good. It sat for a couple months while I was replacing the alternator. I have everything hooked up the same way it came out but when I went to start it I get one initial click when I turn the key for the first time after putting the battery in, then nothing. I am not getting power to lights or any other electric functions. I cleaned up all the connections as well. Not really sure what it is, any help would be appreciated.
What AOD transmission will fit my 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III?
Engine 460 cu in (7.5 L) V8 (385 family) 365 BHP Transmission 3-speed C6 automatic I was told by a friend mechanic that has worked on ford cars his whole life, and he says the bell housing on the transmission is different than any other he's seen.
