With a wider track and front disc brakes, the 1968 VW Karmann Ghia is a perfect period cruise that handles in line with its contemporaries. The styling is decidedly italian and often reminds those who see it of older Porsche sports cars. But underneath it all, it is a VW at heart. This means inexpensive services and repairs.
