With stock engine, acceleration is very weak, but with a few tricks well combined, like bigger pistons, cam, carb. and valves, you'll get twice the power. Solid built, good terminations, great looks and gas mileaage. I expect to have another 1971 coupe KG someday again.

The Ghia was a really fun car to own. Great looks and a classic feel that left me imagining what it might be like to drive a porsche 356 back in the day. After some fun modifications, the Ghia really turned some heads and I was proud to call her mine. Not fast by any sense, it has a 60hp motor and it shows, but somehow the body roll and the light weight of the car makes the most of it.
