Performance with the straight six is awesome best fuel economy and bullet proof. Moved up to the 302 H.O. and can't wait to upgrade the brakes, with the stock brakes being hubs all the way around it doesn't stop as fast but soon all will be well. The interior was okay didn't like the color much but pretty roomy. Trunk space is awesome! The body lines are pure sexy when it comes to it. Love the square look to it with the front of the body coming to sort of a point.Jan 17, 2012

It's just all around fun, sounds nice handles nice...just fun to drive and cruise in! I built it locally and it has the 302 tork monster out of my old motorhome! Just a fun car that turns heads. I built a rear spoiler in the shape of a 69 RS/SS camaro and it actually works very well. Dec 19, 2011

Ford Falcons are great cars to own, many of the 1960-70 Fords owe there engineering to the Falcon. This is just a review of this Falcon! I should have looked over this car better before buying it. rusted floors, frame, cracked shock towers, heavy undercoating sprayed over everything to hide damage, bad paint, repairs made that made the car unsafe to drive or work on.Nov 15, 2010

* Performance - Good acceleration, Stock drum braking, Stock handling.
* Build Quality - has needed no repairs, starts right up all the time, Very Quite ride, some Ford A-arm squeaks now and then
* Appearance - both interior and exterior are beautiful, lots of chrome and stainless steel trim.
* Cost of Ownership - 17-20 mpg with a 4V, V8 engine with non-overdrive transmission and 13" tires is great, I love the styling of the original spinner hub caps so I kept them, maintenance is very easy , parts are easy to find and fairly affordable. This car originally had a 170cid engine that got 22-27 mpg, but could not handle the higher freeway speeds very well.
* Fun Factor - Excellent, convertibles are always fun, old cars are always fun also. This is with out a question the best car I have ever owned!

Accelerates and drives like a raped ape, corners tight, stops fairly quickly. The body is solid and very sturdy, not mention the pretty lines and chrome accents. Despite being a high-performance engine, the small block Ford gets decent gas mileage for the amount of power it has. And for those of you who drive Mustangs...... YOU'RE WELCOME. The Mustang was based off the Falcon!Jun 23, 2009

Performance is good. The little 260 small block carries a lot more power than you would think. The Falcon is a sturdy platform, though mine needs a little restoration, as any 40+ car would. The interior and exterior lines are graceful, reminscent of the 50's classics, yet have the attitude of the muscle car era. Being a small block, it does get decent gas mileage if you don't stand on it all the time. It's a bit of a maintenance hog now since i'm still restoring it. It's a total blast to drive, though.Jan 14, 2009

Since the Mustang is so popular, there are so many. But the Ford Falcon is little known. There aren't as many people that know of them. Put the same V8 into this car, and you got yourself a "Mustang".May 28, 2008
