This car looks reasonable and has the desired power for
anyone with a heavy foot. for the time being it looks like a
family mans car but with some time and monies this car can
look spectacular. considering it is a 6 cylinder vehicle, it can
be quite expensive for those going fast all the time. but
overall is a great car to own and drive.Feb 02, 2010

It goes great, looks awesome, and will last longer than 99%of the cars on the road today!
Built FORD tough!
Can get 800km out of a tank of fuel. Thats with only 60 odd Litres as apposed to Holdens STUPID claim of 900km out of a 75 Litre tank. Who would have thought, a 2004 Falcon can still out perform Holdens upgraded 2009 Billion Dollar Baby!Oct 23, 2009

My XR6 Turbo is mandarin in colour, has fifty thou on the clock so, reasonably low for a 5 yr old car. it has been lowered, has leather trim, premium sound with and upgraded sub and amp and tinted windows. Recently added a set of zinetti 20x8.5" and 20x10" wheels.

I like my car because it looks cool and goes fast. I like my cars colour and its engin. The only thing I don't like about my car is how much fuel it uses when you use your right foot. My car also has the 6CD in dash cd player, leather seats, premium interior and tinted windows. It is generaly a sweet ride.Apr 19, 2009

love the performance, handles very well, fun to drive around coastal roads and winding roads, great pickup. A pleasure to drive. I get 12.2 Litres per 100Km out of a 60litre tank.
reguarly serviced and had no problems with it.

Had this BA Falcon for about 6months. Hated everything about it. Didnt drive any where as nice as the older model AU. Interior is really not that nice, comfortable but very boxy. Wouldnt buy another one or recommend it. Not for me.Feb 12, 2009

It has brilliant power across the rev range, with a good shove of torque too. Engine note is superb! Handling is neutral with a hint of understeer. Adequate brakes. Aggressive looks and superior build quality all round. Reliability has been fantastic. Great fun to get out and about in!Feb 10, 2009

I bought this BA XT Falcon Wagon when it had 40000 Kilometres on the clock (it was an ex government vehicle). It cost $19,000.00 which I thought was really good value since the new ones were worth $38,000.00 Retail at the time. We use it mainly for work. It is fitted out with Rear Suspension Air Bargs (for towing), a 2300KG capacity Tow Bar, Cargo Barrier, Hands Free Phone Kit, Tinted Windows and has a set of Mag Wheels (for special occasions). It has never missed a beat while towing Race and Rally Cars all around the country. It's also very comfortable and handles surprisingly well for a wagon.Jul 24, 2008

The car is good quality for an Australian built car, it looks great, I love the looks I get in it! The overall performance is surprising, however, the trade off is bad fuel economy...Jun 04, 2008

During my time at Ford Motor Co, I had the privilege of taking home a Ford ever 6 months. Pictured are a Ford GT (5.4L V8, 270kW), XR8 (260kW), and XR6 Turbo (240kW), all made in Melbourne, Australia. Some minor quality issues at times, but generally very reliable. The raw energy is very fun!Feb 10, 2008

Automatic transmission
It started with a buzzing sound when driving or a air sucking type noise, but when it warmed up it went away, after a while there was a lag before reverse or drive would engage(which got worse over a week or so,then it started slipping while driving(like pushing in the clutch in a manual when driving)now I've parked it up,is the gearbox wrecked and needs a recon?its a boss 260
