Handle's well, relatively good fuel economy on LPG. Need to get the handbrake
fixed, parks fine on nose low slopes, but when nose high is practically non existant.
Mag wheels, Sports exhaust and Very dark tinted windows as installed by previous
owner, makes it very fun to drive. CD player is broken, likely from regular wear.
Overall, this is the car I've been looking for since I got my licence.Jan 31, 2012

Goes really well its 260kw standard, got aftermaket full exhaust and intake.
Built good and solid handles the thrashings i give it with ease.
Looks great turns heads everywhere.
Use a bit more fuel than id like but its a small price for the fun i have driving it and it probably more my fault for sticking my foot up it all the time.
great fun to drive, when u here the exhaust note u cant help but grin and give it some more hahaJan 28, 2012

i like everything about the car.....except the running costs=(great towing vehicle.....always use to tow the float.. and has never let me down. Great comfy car for long trips. Quick off the line, at low revs, and plenty of torque for low down towing power.Feb 07, 2011

This car has had it's fair share of issues, but overall a strong runner. Great for
longer trips, but does not like start stop, gearbox overheats and starts being

Build Quality: not too much has happned to my baby its a good strong and most of all a quick car.
Car Comparisons: i picked this car over the FG version because it was cheaper, looked better and it was lower :)
Performance: it responded better than a holden did my car drives like a F1

Great car if u have a manual. Turbo is the most fun to drive.
The most fun when u turn traction control off. Fairly
expensive to register and pay for fuel. just dont go through

Its red and its bloody fast it will be faster and it will be with me for a long time. new wheels coming and some nice engine enhancments go the FORDS

Goes like a rocket, handles like a go-cart, breakes are average! Blown a tranny, always replacing 18" tires otherwise good built. Shes a sexy thing inside and out but drinks fuel like a jet engine, shes fun! I rate herJun 28, 2009

XR6 Turbo ute bought it new with 240kw now has a Muz tuned Capa Flash tuner, Bigger intercooler and air filter, with bigger fuel pump and injectors ready to add! Needs a 6sp, clutch, bigger brakes and wheels to fit over breaks am thinking about a 9inch lsd too. Have smashed 3 5sp gearboxes and 3 diffs due to clutch kicking it around corners lol.Likes to drift!Jun 19, 2009

This car was an amazing update of the old AU Falcon we owned before we had this beast. It was one piece of redefined Australian built technology. We enjoyed the first drive back in 2003 but unfortunately mum was driving so we didn't get to rip it around the turns at 150km/h:(. Though when my Dad jumped in the car for the first time he couldn't help but 'test' the limits out. Beautiful car. Dec 08, 2008

Has the looks of the XR6 with the space of a wagon, perfect for a small family. Has decent performance with intake mods and XR6 suspension. Fuel economy is pretty good for a big car. Nice and solid with zero reliability issues. Makes people look because Ford didn't make a factory BF XR6 wagon.Nov 17, 2008

What can I say? Top of the line Ford FPV GT-P. Awesome, awesome toy! Looks hot, Comfy as race style leather seats, smooth 5 speed manual, v8 sounds fantasic under accelleration, so steady and firm over 120mph with more and another gear to go. Huge slotted and drilled Brembo brakes, great aero package and just a complete joy to drive.Sep 20, 2008

I love my XR8. Can't beat the acceleration of a V8 and the look on people's faces when they find out it's mine and NOT my husband's! Just waiting for him to put on the new exhaust so it actually sounds like a V8. They don't make em like they used too.Sep 11, 2008

Hello. It's a Ford, so the electrics are shizen. However, gently hitting the part usually restores it to working order. Has reverse sensors which I like because the Commodores probably think an old man is driving plus mine would be one of the only ones that has this feature so it is unique. Steering is very direct and spritely. Inexperienced drivers must get used to the turbo spooling up. Brakes are stuffed but they still stop the car which is all you can ask for really.Aug 23, 2008

This car is a MACHINE. Put the pedal down and go. Don't bother waving goodbye, the others will only see your tail lights.

Its the car to have. They ride better than any Holden, and they always out power any holden too. Ford has won 3 bathurst in a row coz they are just that good, better any any holden, Think about this, tests show, holden has more power at the flywheel and ford, but at the wheels, ford always have min, 10 killowatts more than the holden.Jul 31, 2008

Different tyres sizes on the front axle on a rwd.
I had two new 17 tyres placed both on the passenger side of my car at Bridgestone, I also have a spare wheel on the drivers side front axle which is 16 inch. Should they have put the new tyres on the front axle instead of both on the one side of the car?. Is it bad for my car in anyway to have two different sized wheels on the same axle?.
