1960 Ford Ranchero Reviews, Pricing & Specs

We bought this car from an elderly gentleman who restored cars not to their original condition, but to his own standards. Very little of this car is original- the engine is from a 1967 Mustang, the bumper is from a Pinto (unknown year) the dashboard has been replaced with a fake leather rubbery stuffed kind of thing, the insides of the doors have been replaced with metal of some kind, and the 3 speed stick has been taken off of the column and put onto the floor. I'm really not sure why he did that last one. The bed also has been carpeted. Again... no explanation. In general, the car runs pretty well, but occasionally it will idle too slowly and just die at a stoplight. Also, the headlight switches and electrical cord appear to have been tangled up on purpose, so sometimes the headlights flash. Overall, though, this is a fun little car. Mar 26, 2008
