Ranchero 500 - This was my grandfathers car from new, I'm the 2nd owner. Car is all original accept for a few minor changes, ie; wheels, tires, shocks and exhaust. Mileage is only 61K. Spent most of it's life sitting in gramps garage, I've had it the last 3 years and managed to put less than 1000 miles on it. When I got this car it was so original it still had the original tires on it, hence the up-grade. Had never even had a tune-up. I've since re-built the carb, complete tune-up, all the brakes, all new shocks with air in the rear to give it a cooler stance, oh and of course magna-flo dual exhaust. It sounds really good, not a huge power house but gets down the road repectably. Rides really nice, kinda like ridin on a cloud. Gets a lot of looks and thumbs up every time I have it out! I believe this is a 79 1/2 model with the all leather red interior, seats, dash and door panels, built 4/79. Car is in really great shape, not show quality, dings etc. never wrecked, but still pretty good for 30 years. Gas mileage, well you know, the price you pay for cool! Really fun with alot of sentimental value, Thanks gramps!!!

This car is a tank. I love the way the roof is so low on these things. I have a pair of fuzzy dice hanging on the mirror and they touch the dash thats how short the roof is.The preformance is not that great but it does weight 5501 pounds to be exact, but she is the best cruisin car ever. My particular car is rare because of its bucket seats. The cars are usually epuipted with benches. This car is just the best to drive with that long hood and plush old car suspension.
