1978 Ford Ranchero Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This 300hp, 6025lb's, Ranchero truly stands out from the crowd. With all the curves in the body and just the stance of the car makes it look mean behind it. This car is NOT a fast car if you were to put it up to a true muscle car, a Honda it can handle. This beast gets 7 mpg around town and 16-17 mpg on high way. I just recently had to replace the original ball joints on it. parts are not really costly it's finding them is the hard part. It's really fun in the snow, rain, ice, and I've run over some old mail boxes and didn't even feel them (long story) This car/truck or catruck is fun smooth and sounds bad ass with my 40 sires flowmasters is a real head turner.Jan 02, 2009

its a numbers matching car one owner if u want to be technical it has a fully built 351 windsor bored and stroked out to a 406 twin holley double pumpers forged internals supercharged and has the ability to hold a 250 shot of NOS but thats how i blew the last motor i set in also has an fmx 3 speed trans and a ford 9 inch with 355 gears in the rear and i had torn it up yes i can say ive shatterd a ford 9 inch went back the original yellow with the white gt racing strips a set of cragar ss wheels all the way around i have street slicks on the rear and skinnys on the front its a set of 15x12 in the rear and 14x7 on front and i burn off slicks on the rear cause i dont want to tub it to hold a fatter wheel and slick it also has dual flowmasters out the rear just to try and quit the cam but it dont helpJan 29, 2008
