I called the dealer ship and spoke to the internet manager. I informed him that I was coming from Holland MI. To see the car. I asked him to take a look at the car and tell me exactly if there was any damages or anything that I need to know about the car so I don’t drive 3 hours for nothing. He called me back and said the car ya super clean. I drive all the way there with my brother so he can drive one car and I will get the new one and I was ready to make the deal. Here’s the surprise: First of all the car wasn’t even washed. Second: the car was completely empty from gas. It says I have 0 mile to drive Third: there was a big dent on the trunk where it says X5. I was so disappointed and mad. The salesman who helped me was nice and professional and kept apologizing and I told him it’s not his fault. It’s the internet manager who’s the scammer. Definitely don’t recommend them bcuz the internet manager is not honest. I ended up buying another car else where.

I called on this car shortly after it was posted, Explaining to the internet contact Eric that I had been looking for this particular car for some time and wanted to put a deposit down to hold while a deal was reached. To which he replied not needed, I’ll get you with one of our Kia Specialist right away. We were given to Jeremy, who I asked to work with my husband so we didn’t have to play phone tag. Who only followed up after I called back a 2nd time, the 3rd time I asked for another salesman so we could get this done. As we live about 5 hours away and wanted to have the details worked out before making the drive. After multiple follow ups on both my and my husband parts over a 5 day period all we get is an email stating “the car sold this morning”. Long story short, Jeremy maybe a great salesman in person, but his follow through on internet sales is severely lacking.

Awesome! The car was the best price anywhere. George in sales picked me up at the airport and showed me the car, introduced me to TJ in finance who had everything ready to sign for pickup. Then George explained the cars features and helped set up android auto. This was the easiest internet sales I've ever had. From pickup at airport to driving the car away was an hour and a half. WOW! I am an out of state buyer and was planning on flying in and picking up the vehicle. I wanted to know exactly (within reason) what I was going to have to pay when I showed up at the dealership. Seemed like a reasonable request by a qualified and serious buyer on the car I had picked out. Their sale price was listed. I received the following reply: "We do not provide OTD quotes unless you are in our showroom. Company policy." Seems like a very strange policy if in fact it is their company policy. They not only lost a sale of a vehicle, but it also has to make a buyer really wonder. I understand once you get there they will want to add an extended warranty and other "optional" packages. Almost all dealers do. I am perplexed why a buyer would fly all of that distance to buy a car without at least knowing what it was going to cost when he got there. They may be a fantastic dealership, but to make that kind of statement to a prospective buyer leaves me full of skepticism. Thank you.

Contacted Mcgrath Arlington Kia about purchasing a 2015 Hyundai Azera listed for sale at $16,490. I asked for a written quote with all fees included. Expecting to see TTL, and a doc fee of about $300. The ordinary car deal. What I got in return is the following: Sales Price: $16,495.00 Preowned Protection plan $ 1995.00 Government fees $ 196.00 Doc Fees $ 889.00 Tax $ 1356.53 Total Sales Price $20,931.53 Needless to say, I was shocked. I explained that I was not interested in the Preowned protection package, and offered to purchase the car for 16,000.00 + TTL. Reasonable I thought. The reply I got form Carl was "We cannot sell the car without adding the cost of the protection package. I'm trying to see if there is any margin on the cost of the package. You're only talking about a few dollars to your payment. I need some flexibility on your end." These are facts.

Emailed about a car I wanted to purchase for 4 days. Set up an appointment, which was confirmed prior to driving 3 1/2 hours to the dealership. When I arrived they had just sold the car to another person. Never received a phone call or an email letting me know the car was sold while I was traveling to the dealership.

Proceed with caution with this dealership. I found a Lexus ES350 with EVERY possible package including Ultra luxury package which is very rare but images from the car don't reflect it. Upon inquiry Patricia tells me this is a listing error. However a few days later there's a new ES350 listing again (vin 58ABK1GG9GU003823) with Ultra Luxury package. This time I directly checked the VIN on Lexus website and turns out this again is incorrect. Seems like this dealership just checks all the possible boxes for all car postings to make the car appear a greater deal than it actually is. Very shady.

This dealer called me to verbally tell me they had the car and would have it ready when I arrived. I showed up and then they tell me the car was sold. I don't think it was and I think the ad was meant to bring in customers. The salesman proceeded to try and sell me a 2019 that was out of my price range.

If there is options to rate this dealership I would give them minus one hundred stars! Dealerships is disgusting! Starting from sales man to management! We arranged price and when I came in person they make up new price thousand dollars different and they even wanted to sell me warranty package for 1500$ making car overpriced. Just skip them in one big arch and save your precious time!

Very dishonest in their dealing. After we came to an agreement and doing all of the paperwork they came back and said they needed $900 more. We said no based on principle. We communicated with them the next morning and said we would pay the extra, they said no they needed another $2,000 on top of the $900. Run don’t walk away from this dealership.

Drove an hour just to get here only to find out they had sold 2 of the vehicles after confirming via phone they had them the sales guy wasn't knowledgeable on any of the vehicles on the lot and no one even spoke or greeted us we did not feel welcome in a place we were giving 11k so we left then I get a phonecall saying the vehicle that I was looking for is available and to come back in so i make plans to do that but then i get calls back to back from this dealer talking about the same thing . I'm guessing their communication , and friendly customer service skills need to be updated

By far the worst experience in car buying I have ever had! I think they are more interested in collecting cars than they are in selling them. Expect “value added” pricing in excess of 1,500 after the agreed price. Update: I tried working my way up the chain to get the vehicle bought. Even the GM was hard to deal with. I recommend shopping anywhere else!

Would give no stars if possible. The only dealer I have ever seen that the daily market dictates what they sell there truck for. One day is 39,990 next its 37000 then jumps to 40555. And the sales man told me that the price was what it was ... he could take 250 off but if that wasnt enough to not wast his time coming. And there's 300 miles between me and that truck... joke of a dealer ship dont wast your time doing business here!

Terrible customer service and dishonest sales people. My sales person wasn't upfront about the additional taxes and fees per my request, and the financing department miscalculated the final price on my bill of sale. After notifying the department of the discrepancy they would not fix it.

Did not make a deal, the vehicle has a lot of the sensors disconnected, ABS light on, traction control light on. It would never pass any emissions testing. I would have still purchased it and had these items fixed by my local dealer, but they would not give anything on the price.

Bait and switch shady type of a dealership. The price that you see on the internet is not the actual price. Add about $3000 of additional “certification fees” etc. to it. They will say anything over the phone just to lure you in, only when you actually use your calculator and question the numbers you’ll find out that the pice isn’t as advertised.

I had multiple conversations via e-mail and phone with several different employees. They knew were coming to look at this specific vehicle and that we were very interested. When we arrived the vehicle was very dirty. They even informed us that it had been used by an employee. The car we were trading in is 9 years older and was in way better condition than the car they were trying to sell us.

I didn’t end up purchasing a car from this dealer, but I wanted to leave a good review anyway. Dan, the salesman, was excellent as was the manager. They were both very helpful and not at all pushy. I’d definitely recommend visiting them if you are looking for a good Kia.

Everyone at McGrath was awesome! I didn't buy this particular car but I did purchase a 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid. They followed up with me and understood my needs. My salesman Sam was patient in explaining the details of the car, questions I had and warranty info . My finance person Vido was also great at explaining add-ons that may appeal to me. He did not pressure me on add-ons I didn't want. Overall experience was great! I would definitely go back to McGrath Arlington Kia to purchase future vehicles.

It was a very nice experienced buying a car at McGrath Arlington Kia. And the people that I have talk to were friendly and nice. Daniel Brennan the sale person, it's been like I've known him in a while. A very nice young man and Thomas "TJ" Hendzel the finance guy friendly and gave us a good info about the product/service maintenance. Yes! I highly recommend this company McGrath Arlington Kia at Palantine. Well, deserved Five Stars.

We liked Dan, the salesman who helped us. We had some title issues on the trade-in that they handled quickly. In the end, you have to negotiate the final price, but CarGurus gave us some good comparative info and I think we did OK. This dealership has a required "additional service and warranty" cost which is new to us and not reflected in the list price, but we haven't bought a used car in 15 years and don't know what is normal these days. Overall a favorable experience.

They were very quick to respond. However, they began to contact me 1-2 times everyday after I told them I was from out of town and could not get to the dealership in a hop, skip, and a jump! It became almost annoying. On our way to the dealership, I looked the vehicle up that we were planning to look at and they had raised the price $500. Once we arrived to test drive the vehicle the price on the windshield was $1000 cheaper than the original price. However, they tried to quickly remove the price, but we saw it before they removed it. When we questioned them about it, the salesman said, "sometimes the guys that put those stickers on make mistakes, and they put the wrong price on the car." They told us something was wrong with my car that doesn't even exist in the car, and when my husband questioned them, they were lost for words. Needless to say, we did not make a deal and decided to return closer to home to purchase a vehicle where we knew we wouldn't get the run around.

Internet sales rep got back to me and stated all info on the vehicle being considered was accurate. Went the next morning to view the vehicle and found it was nowhere in sight. The price also increased in 24 hours by $1000.00 dollars. Something just doesn't add up for a dealer that could have moved a car with very little effort. I didn't even need to talk with a sales rep to get hosed !

In our effort to get a car through the used car inspection and safety check as quickly as possible so that it is offered for sale sometimes those charges are not always up to date and will be applied later. Made us buy a "maintenance package" with the car but did not give us any documents entailing exactly what that package is. They said they were giving us $500. in trade in for our vehicle but none of the paperwork they gave us even reflected that amount which made for an embarrasing situation when we went to transfer the title because we had no proof of the trade in.

There are Quite a few positives and one big negative. Positives are that they were easy to work with. I bought a 2014 Audi A4. Price was very good. I took the car all afternoon for a long drive to have my private mechanic check it out. The car was an excellent below- market price. The finance manager did a great job to beat the loan rate my credit union pre-approved me for. The negative is that I discovered too late there was only one key fob that came with the car. I had no idea they cost nearly $500! Shame on me for not asking, and shame on McGrath for not bringing it up. McGrath or the Dealer that originally owned it really should provide me a spare key. I am not the one who lost it. I would be happy to offer a five star review if someone makes me whole.

Dealer was fine. Car was not ready even though I had made an appointment. I spent most of my time waiting for the snow to be cleaned off so only got a short test drive.

After receiving 3 or 4 emails from one sales representative and from the General Sales manager I decided to find the time and go to the dealership. It was one over 40 miles drive - I live at 167th Street! I had the printout from CarGurus with the picture of the car and the price - $18374. The first thing I have done at the dealership I gave the sales person that printout and I said I am there for this car and for that price. After the test drive the sales person realized I really like the car and he began playing the "dealer" game. He wanted me to pay $24000 for a car they have advertised online for $18000. He began slowly changing the price but never came close to the advertised prize! After wasting 3 hours of my life I decided to leave. I didn't buy a new car and the dealer didn't make any money. Maybe they have to stop deceiving people and show online the price they are asking, I am very disappointed and I will never ever try to do business with Advantage Kia of Palatine.

Typical car sales dealers. Salesman followed the book on what you hate about going to a dealership. I kept trying to get strait answers and a strait up deal, but they insisted on jumping us through the usual hoops of offer, counter offer, offer, counter offer, and we were not ever close to a deal like I told them at the beginning, as they held my trade in keys hostage to keep me there for 3 hours. All the while they kept telling me "we're just trying to help you out". All the ridiculous leading questions to get you to sign a deal. Yuck!

The sales staff were rude and swearing. My girlfriend was trying to buy the car, but the sales manager never even looked at her till we said that she was the she was buying. Then tried to sell us a protection coating that was mandatory by KIA, which was a lie, we call another KIA dealer and said no way. Would never want to give them a penny of my money! The apitamy of a used car dealerships.

Car seemed to be in better shape than others. Priced well. Customer service was challenging but we came to an agreement. Buying a car shouldn't be this difficult, but all dealer personnel were trying to make it work.

When we arrived to see the car it was not ready to be sold. They told us it needed work done. They then said the price would be 3000.00 more than the online price. We did not buy a car from them.

I had a great Experience. Everyone there was very friendly. They worked very hard to get me the best price on my used car. They fix up the used cars just enough to turn them around again. So be sure to really look over the car before you walk off the lot. Sure there were some dinks in the car I bought...but I live in the city and it was the cheapest price in the nation by under 5k. So i can live with a few dings! I will be more than happy to buy my next used car from them!
