2025 Hyundai KONA Electric: Where Technology Meets Value

The ultimate family-friendly three-row SUV

Hyundai’s all-new, next-generation PALISADE debuts for 2026, bringing a host of features designed to help keep you safe while delivering a premium experience for the whole family. Some SUVs might give the front seats luxuries, but as you head further back, other amenities may vanish, particularly in the third row. But in the all-new PALISADE, whether you're behind the wheel or a passenger, it's jam-packed with the latest comfort and tech features.

With available heated seats in all three rows, an available class-exclusive Integrated Front and Rear Dash Cam with motion detection[1], and three-zone automatic climate control, the 2026 PALISADE is the ultimate family and road-tripping vehicle.

In the PALISADE, you sit in the lap of luxury

The PALISADE's premium experience starts before you even get in. With the available Digital Key 2[2], you can use your compatible phone or smartwatch as a key. All you need to do is get in and drive.

Once you’re in, the available Ergo Motion Driver’s Seat takes comfort to another level by using built-in air pockets to mold to your body. Turn on the Comfortable Stretch function to gently move the seat cushion and backrest to help reduce muscle fatigue on longer drives. As if that weren’t enough, Posture Assist automatically adjusts pelvic and back support, while Smart Support adds side bolstering during more sporty driving. An available heated steering wheel to keep your hands warm on cold mornings rounds out the driver-focused experience.

Of course, it's not just the driver who gets the first-class treatment, as passengers have numerous available upgrades too. For example, both front seats offer available heating and ventilation. Hyundai’s available ultra-comfy Relaxation Mode lets front-seat passengers recline, raise leg support, and settle in — perfect for curling up with a nice book during pit stops. And with Passenger Talk, a built-in intercom lets front-seat passengers speak to those in the back without having to shout.

Safety features and comfort with Hyundai SmartSense

Hyundai's SmartSense brings a suite of standard and available driver assistance features to the 2026 PALISADE. Some optional features include:

Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control[3]: Helps maintain a set distance from the car in front of you on the highway and can slow down or stop the vehicle if necessary. It’s even aware of upcoming curves in the road and can automatically slow down a little bit to help keep you safe.

Blind-Spot View Monitor[4]: When you activate your turn signal, this feature shows a live camera view of your blind spot in your 12.3-inch instrument cluster. This is also super useful when you need to see what’s next to you when parking.

Remote Smart Parking Assist[5]: Pull into and out of parking spots even if you’re not in the vehicle simply by pressing a button on your key fob.

The available front and rear Dash Cam[1] can record in high definition and store up to 20 hours of recording time. It can record accidents, take time-lapse videos of your journey, and start recording if motion is detected while it’s parked.

The all-new PALISADE offers a ton of cool technology features. Learn more about them here.

In the PALISADE, the second row is first class

Premium appointments certainly extend to the second row. While 8-seater models come with a bench seat, opting for the PALISADE as a 7-seater gets you two captain’s chairs that are heated and ventilated to ensure all-season comfort, with available Relaxation Mode settings to recline the backrest when the vehicle is parked. Second-row passengers get their own automatic climate control settings, too. Available sunshades on the rear side windows help reduce glare, ideal for napping or screen time.

One of the many unique tech-forward, family-friendly features is PALISADE’s available Safe Exit Assist with Rear Door Indicator[6]. If a vehicle is approaching from behind, the system can temporarily prevent passengers from opening the rear doors into traffic.

The features keep going all the way to the back

It’s rare for a three-row SUV to offer heated seats in the third-row, but they’re not only available on PALISADE, they’re adjustable with high, medium, and low settings. That’s in addition to the third-row air vents.

While getting in and out of many third rows is an exercise in flexibility, third-row PALISADE passengers simply need to press a button, and the second row slides forward. If no one is sitting back there, the third row offers optional power reclining and folding, so you can easily use the cargo area.

Luxuries that extend from front to back

The luxuries truly extend from front to back. Opt for the available 14-speaker Bose® audio system[7], and experience one of the most well-known, high-end audio brands, which tailored its system to the PALISADE’s dimensions with Centerpoint technology. All three rows can be upholstered in available Nappa leather seating surfaces, access USB-C power ports, and stay connected with built-in Wi-Fi capability[8].

Whether you’re behind the wheel experiencing Hyundai’s SmartSense technologies or relaxing in one of the passenger seats during a long trip, the all-new 2026 PALISADE is designed to help keep the whole family safe and comfortable.

[1] The legality of recording, storing and using videos and/or audio recordings from the Dash Cam depends on the laws and regulations applicable in the jurisdiction where you operate the vehicle. The user is solely responsible for consulting and complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Hyundai does not have access to any recordings or data gathered via the Dash Cam. Several factors can impact Dash Cam performance and the Dash Cam may not record in all situations. The driver should not control the Dash Cam while driving. See your Owner’s Manual for additional details and limitations. Class comparison based on primary mid-size SUV competitors as defined by Hyundai Motor America. Competitors within this class are the 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander, 2026 Ford Explorer, 2025 Honda Pilot, and 2025 Kia Telluride. Claim based on comparison of specifications on manufacturer websites.

[2] Digital smartphone key requires a compatible smartphone and an appropriately equipped Hyundai vehicle. Not all smartphones are compatible. Hyundai vehicle must be equipped with smart key with push button start, wireless device charging, and Audio Video Navigation System 5.0 (or newer) or Display Audio 2.0. Tap to lock/unlock function works on front doors only. Requires MyHyundai with Bluelink app and active Bluelink account. Please visit www.MyHyundai.com for information on compatible devices. Features and specifications subject to change. See your Owner’s Manual for additional details and limitations.

[3] Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (N-SCC) with Stop & Go and Curve Control can help automatically adjust vehicle speed when driving on highways by using road information from the navigation system. N-SCC only operates on main roads of select highways, and does not operate at interchanges or junctions. N-SCC should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, on winding or slippery roads, or if the navigation system is not working properly. N-SCC is a driver convenience feature and not a collision avoidance or warning device. Driver remains responsible for checking the speed limit and distance to the vehicle ahead, steering the vehicle and slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

[4] Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) assists driver in changing lanes by providing a live view of the blind spots on either side of the vehicle and an audible alert if another vehicle is detected. Turn signal must be activated and other system limitations apply. Do not rely exclusively on BVM. It is the driver's responsibility to be aware of the surroundings and ensure it is clear before changing lanes or directions. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

[5] Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can remotely help park the vehicle. However, several factors can impact RSPA performance. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) interfere with sensor operation. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

[6] When the vehicle is parked, Safe Exit Assist (SEA) can alert the driver when a vehicle is approaching from behind. When Child Locks are active, SEA prevents initial disabling of the child safety locks if a vehicle approaching from behind is detected. SEA does not work in all situations and is not a substitute for driver or passenger attentiveness. Always be aware of your surroundings and attentive of approaching vehicles. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

[8] Wi-Fi hotspot requires an active Bluelink subscription agreement subject to the Hyundai Motor America Connected Services Terms and Conditions and an active data plan from Verizon. Coverage and service are not available in all areas. Wi-Fi hotspot is intended for passenger use only. Only use Wi-Fi and connected devices when safe to do so.
