Overview

The Lexus GX 470 4WD was available from 2003 until 2009. The GX lineup, which is based on the Toyota 4Runner, adds elegant styling and upscale interior materials to the 4Runner’s impressive off-road capabilities. This midsize luxury SUV is still sold new today, and targets the same audience as it has all along, but the GX was redesigned for the 2010 model year and the 470 trim level was phased out. Later model years of the Lexus GX offer similar capabilities and features to those described here, but with different powertrains and performance capabilities.
