Overview
The Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup spans a huge price range and includes basic variants as well as high-end luxury models. Just above the entry-level Laredo trim is the Altitude, which costs a few thousand dollars more than the base model and brings several tech, luxury, and appearance upgrades. Even with the niceties that Jeep equips, the Grand Cherokee is a capable off-roader, assuming it’s equipped with four-wheel drive. People that don’t need the extra traction can opt for a rear-drive Grand Cherokee Altitude, which still brings a stout 6,200-pound towing rating and all the high-end features.
Key Features
- 3.6-liter V6
- Eight-speed automatic transmission
- 2WD or 4WD
- Leather upholstery
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- 8.4-inch touchscreen
Pricing Details
Jeep charged $43,430 for the 2022 Grand Cherokee Altitude before destination, taxes, and options. The SUV already comes with leather and several other upgraded features over the base Laredo trim, but Jeep offered further upgrades such as a $1,195 power sunroof, a $695 trailer towing package, a $425 Mopar appearance package, and several $395 premium paint colors. Used examples on CarGurus range from $7,736.50 to $43,826.00 with an average price of $9,140.33.
